Outside of season six, where the Mediumrare splits the episodes more evenly across its discs (5-5 rather than 6-4), the episodes/disc counts are the same - so I'm not sure there's room for improvement, quite literally.

Some one wrote this regarding the US Set.

"Technically, a bad sound snafu on season 7, disc 2, title 1 (S7 e6, 'Animal Control') is very distracting - the ambient sounds are all 'phased'; it sounds like there's a hard delay between left and right channels of ambient sounds and a sound engineer has inadvertently summed them into mono, so the atmospherics sound like they're playing through a tube. Shame - none of the other 87 episodes has this unpleasant fault."

Is this issue on the UK Set present as well?

I've got this recently so will check it over the weekend. Any particular timestamps in the episode where it really shows up the problem?

Checked my UK copy and they sound identical to me. Not only that but the episode length is identical as are all the chapter breaks. So I suspect it's either the exact same encode ported over or its the exact same master source.

Edit: This is compared to a download I had from the US blu-ray release.
