3 February titles have leaked on Amazon.com, which probably means there will also be a UK exclusive:

Quote:

Real-life husband and wife David Hemmings (Blowup, Deep Red) and Gayle Hunnicutt (Eye of the Cat, Fragment of Fear) star in this tense British shocker from director Kevin Billington (The Rise and Rise of Michael Rimmer).

Bartleby (1970) as well

Quote:
Director: Anthony Friedmann

Cast: Paul Scofield, John McEnery, Thorley Walters, Robin Askwith

SYNOPSIS

Based on Herman Melville’s celebrated short story ‘Bartleby, the Scrivener: A Story of Wall Street’, Anthony Friedmann’s unduly neglected film relocates the action to 1970s London and stars Oscar-winner Paul Scofield (A Man for All Seasons), John McEnery (Franco Zeffirelli’s Romeo and Juliet), and Thorley Walters (Hammer’s The Phantom of the Opera).

When a young office clerk, Bartleby (McEnery), becomes increasingly defeated by the pressures of modern life, he gradually opts out of all forms of social engagement and his frustrated employer (Scofield) does all he can to stop him from withdrawing entirely into his own world.

Superbly acted and exquisitely photographed, Bartlebyis a rare gem of 1970s British cinema. Presented in a brand new restoration from a 4K scan of the original negative, this wry and complex drama makes its worldwide debut on Blu-ray accompanied by a range of new and archival extra features.

They're also doing a release of The Triple Echo in the US. Powerhouse previously released it in the UK in 2019.

Quote:
Director: Michael Apted

Cast: Glenda Jackson, Oliver Reed, Brian Deacon, Anthony May

SYNOPSIS

Director Michael Apted (Coal Miner's Daughter, The World Is Not Enough) made his feature-film debut with this distinctive drama based on the novella of the same name by H E Bates (The Darling Buds of May). Reuniting Glenda Jackson with her Women in Love co-star Oliver Reed (The Devils), the film also stars a young Brian Deacon (Vampyres, A Zed & Two Noughts).

When a young soldier (Deacon) deserts his outfit and hides in a remote farm, the farm owner (Jackson) and he fall in love. But their idyll is shattered by the arrival of a boorish, violent army sergeant (Reed) searching for his AWOL recruit.

Unconventional and superbly played, The Triple Echo is one of the finest British films of the 1970s. Long overlooked and unjustly neglected, The Triple Echo makes its US debut on Blu-ray.

INDICATOR LIMITED EDITION BLU-RAY SPECIAL FEATURES

• Original mono audio

• A Matter of Life and Death (2019, 15 mins): director Michael Apted reflects on his feature debut and its place within his prolific career

• A Different Perspective (2019, 25 mins): editor Barrie Vince recalls shaping and structuring the film

• Dressing Up (2019, 9 mins): costume designer Emma Porteous on the challenges of recreating an authentic wardrobe for The Triple Echo

• The Emotion of the Moment (2019, 8 mins): composer Marc Wilkinson discusses highlights from his score

• A Sense of Justice (2019, 23 mins): an in-depth appreciation by author and film historian Neil Sinyard

• Original theatrical trailer, edited by the legendary Jean Fouchet

• Teaser trailer

• Image gallery: on-set and promotional photography

• New and improved English subtitles for the deaf and hard-of-hearing

These are US releases, but they'll also be announced for the UK as well (other than The Triple Echo). Going by their first wave (The Blockhouse, The Brute, Girl Stroke Boy, Hoffman), and what's stated on their website, they will either be region free, or region A/B coded.

Looks like a very solid month of releases. Bravo Indicator! I’m especially intrigued by Voices (shades of Altman’s Images?) and The Devil’s Men.

Yikes! This is what I'm talking about. Triple Echo for the win, but will also pick up Voices and The Devil's Men! I would have started with these films for their first slate in January.

What's interesting about the Triple Echo cover is that
[Show spoiler]it pretty much gives away the ending. Without context, but that's the ending

I will be picking up all 4 of the new releases (I already own Triple Echo). The Devil's Men is a guilty pleasure.

Somewhat obscure, worthwhile films like these are the type of releases that get me most excited.

I wonder what are the chances Indicator would release their Harryhausen movies in the States. I mean, they have to go through the same Studio (Sony) and there's clearly a demand (no studios have yet to do something good with Harryhausen's movies, at least not to the quality Indicator did in the UK).
I finally got the sinbad set and the first volume but volume 2 is just so ridiculously expensive.
