The issue with this element are the missing frames, which at one point cut off dialogue from Jean Trend.

I do wonder if AI is now at the point where it can not just patch missing frames, but also recreate the missing dialogue?

Wow, terrible news. Orbit just notified me that my preorder was being canceled. I wonder why 88 scrapped this release? Hopefully something else will materialize in future for this title.

I am a bit puzzled. HMV said on 12/10/2024 this release had been cancelled as withdrawn by 88 Films.

Today I receive an email regarding the item which actually remains active on my order:
"We're getting in touch regarding your hmv.com pre-order:

MICHELLE, ANN: VICKI MICHELLE:
VIRGIN WITCH
BLU

Due to a delay in receiving the stock from our suppliers we have so far been unable to dispatch this in time for its original release date. Apologies for any disappointment that this may cause.

However, we have been assured that the stock is on its way and as soon as the shipment reaches our warehouse, we'll process and dispatch your order as soon as we can. You'll also receive a dispatch email to let you know when it's on its way."

I wonder if just a default email triggered because they have not actually cancelled the item from my order properly?

That sounds like a default as the title has been cancelled by 88 Films.

I just randomly now found out this existed just perusing through Diabolik's site. Saw the cover and it intrigued me, really good art too. Especially cuz apparently I had never heard of Tigon but had recently seen some of there stuff so that studio has my attention in some form.

Was there any more detail given as to why this was cancelled aside from the general rights issue that was given?
