There's a lot of movies that RT gives high marks to that I hate and low marks to that I love. I've personally never used it to validate or invalidate my opinion, and it certainly isn't the final say that some want it to be, no matter which side of the opinion-fence you find yourself on.

But...ratings and stuff seem to be the de-facto measuring stick for a lot of folks. Usually only when it benefits their opinion though. I guess that's cool. Whatever floats the boat and all that.

For me, I can promise one thing: whether I like or dislike Eternals won't be because of Rotten Tomatoes. I want to believe people are shrewd enough to decide for themselves and go from there.

I love that in a world of Batman v Superman, the Justice League mess, a universe that can't get its sh*t together, and having a total of TWO good movies (The Suicide Squad and Shazam); the usual trolls are claiming one MCU movie being rotten as a win.

So let me get this straight. The same people that are constantly criticizing and mocking other cbm films (Fox, Sony, WB) are the same ones that can’t handle when someone criticize the MCU and labels them as trolls?

If I have anything negative to say about a movie, I'll do it proper-after I've seen a movie and made my own conclusions. What I do not do is pre-judge and infest this site, trolling (yes these people are trolling) to make it known that I have prejudged this film. I hold each film up to its own merits. I do not judge based on who is producing it, directing (one exception, but I don't watch those movies), or what universe it sits in.

This website has more than one person who will go into threads regarding movies made by a certain company, or a certain actor, director etc and get into their own feelings about why they're dumb ass opinions are justified..before they've seen the movie.

If the movie stars a female, or directed by one, or someone ethnically different...especially a comic book movie...it will be locked here because a lot of those trolls don't know how to handle movies (and probably life) when people look different.

So, I ask you to find a post (better yet, a thread) where I am happy to see a movie fail before it comes out. Until you can do that, then there is a major difference between me and those trolls.

LOL, that is some epic Zack Snyder Derangement Syndrome. He's now apparently going to be responsible for the imminent collapse of Warner Brothers Studios. You can't make this crap up.

What does it mean that WW was "already done?" You first claimed it succeeded because it "moved away" from Zack. Now you're claiming its success doesn't count because it was "already done?" Meaning it would've been done before the studio could've possibly changed it in reaction to BVS. Which is basically true, and why Zack deserves to share great credit for its success.

BVS was a brilliant and beautiful masterpiece. It got applause at the end of my IMAX screening. And Wonder Woman is a classic on the level of 1978 Superman, one of the most purely perfect superhero origin stories ever told. Both grossed over 800 million dollars each, and then Aquaman topped a billion. Everyone knows JL tanked because Whedon took over. Even WB disliked what Whedon turned in, but it was too late to fix it and meet their deadline. Most people believe Snyder's cut is superior.
