All outstanding orders were sent to Bill Olsen. In order to claim your order you had to spend over $100 on new Code Red titles and show proof of purchase of both orders. Sucked, but I know a few people were able to get their Dorado orders.

I forgot when I pre-ordered this I with two other movies as well. I was thinking it would be like an early birthday present to myself... now it's late birthday present. Honestly it's not that bad of a wait since I have a huge backlog of movies to go through but still...

The film was shot in 11 weeks, surely we can get a disc out in 6 months.

My biggest fear is that this release hit a snag at some point in regard to the restoration process. Doesn't seem like many labels are being impacted anymore, so something just feels odd about this delay.

Jesse said on the Just the Discs podcast back in January that they had the production sample discs in hand and were QC'ing those at that time. So I don't think this is a concern.

Well that's good to know that the restoration was done. Still, something feels off. There have been delays with some small labels, but not this long. Just would be nice to know if we are expecting another delay.

Nah, Dorado was a lot worse, and I had similar things happen with Raro. I remember preordering "Il Lago di Satana" off their facebook and there was just absolutely no communication from them for several months. Eventually I just received it one day with no warning, long after I'd given up hope. At least there's not a total blackout from Diabolik where we're unsure if they're still a business!

Yeah, Raro is worse. They won't even press the discs until there is a certain amount of pre-orders, but people don't seem to want to pre-order from them anymore, so who knows if we'll ever get any new stuff from them.

Either way, I do hope we get an update on this release soon enough.

Speaking of Raro, grab anything they've released and that you want from Kino while you can, because it feels like it's already going out of print and they haven't announced anything new in a while. I haven't been able to find The Conformist anywhere, I might just import the Arrow version.

The Conformist needs a whole new HD BLU, I would not be surprised if another label has this one coming in an all new addition.

I think the only thing of theirs I've been meaning to pick up is Werewolf Woman, cause it's never included in Kino sales and the bad transfer isn't worth full price!

Did order it with those 2 movies.
But alas but got a shipping notification for twice dead and watcher 2 so at least there alive that's positive news.
