I don't like to trash small films too hard but good grief, this is just horrific. Not a good actor in sight.

The Batman (2022) - 1/2

I feel like I need to see it again but right now, I'm in the middle leaning towards bad. It's a gigantic mess that's poorly paced, with a plethora of highs and lows making it difficult to pin down exactly how good or bad it is. Needs reflection.

4. Lincoln

I saw a biography about Lincoln last month and it made me think of this movie which I hadn't seen in a few years. I'm a big fan of Daniel Day Lewis and enjoy his great performance here. This won Best Actor for Day Lewis and also got a Best Picture nomination.

5. Good Time

I loved The Safdie Brothers' Uncut Gems and definitely enjoyed this wild ride. Very similar to Uncut Gems style with the main character getting into trouble and going on an odyssey through New York in an attempt to solve it.
