I guess they didn't want to drive or walk up the driveway
:'(
I got home from my Dr appointment and my GFs Dr appointment and running errands the rest of the day at 9pm. Best Buy Customer Service was closed, so I had to call them this morning.
Girl says it is no longer available for shipping.
Only store pick-up.
My closest store is about a four hour drive. They also do not carry movies, not even new ones.
My GFs family lives over an hour from one but they are elderly and don't drive that much.
Thankfully, my sister answered her phone (while working, she's the head chef on base)
She'll pick it up for me and send it to me.
Best buy no longer gives "inconvenience credit" which sucks.
But, at least I'll be able to get a copy of this.
Boy that is a lot of work and inconvenience for this title.

You must really love it!

Haven't seen it yet.
But I'm not missing out on another 4k title!

Got mine delivered yesterday in a box with air pillows. First time it has come dented with no apparent outside box damage visible to not sure what happened in this one. Went online for an in store pickup and will exchange. Fingers crossed it's good.

That’s exactly what happened to me. No sign that under the mint condition slipcover, the actual Steelbook itself was badly dented. Replaced it at an in-store location about 25 minutes from my house. Only one in a four-store region with stock and they only had two copies. Gotta move quick these days or you miss out.

Mine arrived okay - with a spine slash under the slip. And so it goes.

Got mine delivered today and it looks like someone curb stomped it. The guy at Best Buy processing the return was more bummed about it than I was.

Sold out at any store within a 250 mile radius. That first pressing stamp indicates there will be more pressings, so hopefully the stores will get some more soon. I honestly don’t care if it’s not the first pressing but I would like the steel book.

Wow, really? I've always suspected the slashes happen at manufacture, so that might be an indicator of that. Was it right in the middle? A spine slash always seems to be right in the middle, so that is why I would say it's a manufacturing issue (some uniform action is doing it).

So I was wrong. Small dent in the middle of the back if my steelbook. Nothing big enough for me to warrant driving out trying to get a replacement though.

If someone would be willing to buy 2 copies of this for me and post to my US address, that would be hugely appreciated. Will of course pay in advance. Please PM me if you’d be able to help.

(I’m in Australia, have a US forwarding address, but BestBuy will not ship to it)

I actually saw a copy in my local store yesterday and they are still on the website. I don't think this is going to be nearly as limited as other "exclusive" steels. What's this about a "first pressing" stamp? I'll probably go find the answer before anyone replies, just missed that before and had no idea about when I saw the one yesterday or I would've checked if it was first or second.

EDIT: found the post with the info a page back. Checked my copy, but also noted that without opening it, you can't see that marking under the slipcover so no telling in store anyway. Mine is first like it should be FWIW.

First pressing stamp seems to be a new thing for Lionsgate, there is one on my Highlander steel also (you can see that one through the clear sides of the slip). Wonder of older ones have it too, like T2 and Total Recall and American Psycho.

I think it’s a newer thing. I have quite a few of their steelbooks that I got on release, but I’d have to go and check which ones say first pressing.

Hard to tell since the website just says "unavailable nearby" but doesn't offer the option to order to home anymore (last post of mine it was showing up in store and was available to buy on site). I would keep an eye out at BB every Tuesday and Wed. (sometimes stuff takes an extra day to hit the floor, at least here it does) and their site daily. Seems too soon be to gone to me.
