Oh so it isn't a 1 disc set? Cool. I'm gonna assume it's 3 disc then. So 20-25 shorts per disc. The bug bunny set was 3 discs.

Calling it "Collector's Choice" is just marketing, they aren't actually thinking of collectors when assembling these sets.
If it was done by WAC and they hired Jerry Beck to actually select all the titles, then we'd get a set for collectors.

Exactly, it’s just the name of this series. We don’t really know anything about this release yet except for the name.

I know who wrote that bit of disclaimer, and he didn't believe it himself. It was written to placate the lawyers. Ultimately, it didn't work.

EVERY studio needs to do that and I agree.

What's more, we don't think like that anymore (and all for the better) and the inclusion of this "controversial" material will show everyone how far we've come and even then there were provocative people like Al Jolson and George Pal (whose Puppetoon John Henry and The Inky Poo was the very first cartoon in which the African American was treated with love and respect).

What there also needs to be for a possible Censored 11/Banned Short set is a documentary showing how far diversity has come into animation, just to give a better context of the topic.

Which illustrates why money does not equal intelligence or common sense.

Problem is everyone's censor opinion is different. There was a Cartoon Network special about banned Bugs Bunny cartoons and they put one with an African American Stereotype and one where Bugs arrives in Germany and mocks Hitler

Even though most people over 5 should know Hitler wasn't good

They should be released uncensored without the annoying disclaimers.

Really hoping all the shorts will be lossless audio and completely uncensored. Original openings and OAR where applicable. 3 or 5 BD50s would be ideal.
As others mentioned, no tat and especially no Funko garbage.

And ironically that special would end up NOT airing!

But at least it's available on youtube. And they would air the Nazi one on TV.

In today's overly pointless politically correct world that probably ain't happening.

This is supposed to be about an upcoming Blu-ray set not some nonsensical complaints about things being too PC nowadays!

I've gotten every Looney Tunes set, both DVD and Blu-ray. This one will be no exception. And for what it's worth, I believe it will include some new shorts.
