Pretty happy with the other stretch goals being met. I can live without the gold edges.

I desperately want the Gold Gilded-Edges for the book. They did silver for the Cult Epics book in 2017 and its very nice. It really makes a difference in the quality feel of the book. The book is essentially art so anything that could be done to enhance that is a positive.

I really really want that 80k stretch to get hit. I backed mainly for the book but got the movies because it was a good deal. Too bad they did the last of the secret perks. One more would probably give it that last push to 80k.

Hugely-underwhelming final stretch goal for me. Would rather it have been...anything else?

Still want this to make as much money as possible so they keep releasing Tinto Brass stuff, but I couldn't care less about some random color added to the edge of the book.

Campaign has ended at $78,200. Last stretch goal was not reached. Now the 6-9 month wait begins...

latest update last chance to buy this week

Quote:
Tinto Brass BOOK and 4K UHD updates
Hello everyone, the book design has been done. While it goes to printing, we be collecting people’s names for the Acknowledgement “Thank you” page in the Book, and we be sending out an email early September to everyone, to check their name in the PDF, be on the lookout for that, if your name is exactly as listed on IGG there is no need to reply, if you need a change do let us know. You’ll be hearing from us. With it we will also be closing the INDEMAND page on IGG by August 31, no Books or 4K UHD sets can be ordered anymore on this page after. If you only ordered the 4K UHD set and want a copy of the book with your name in the book, please get it now, we will close the campaign by then, we will not be able to fulfill orders after August. If you want the 4K UHD set it would be the same, less than 40 available. We will refund you on double shipping payed!

4K UHD UPDATE

We have just received the 4K Transfer of All Ladies Do It, and we expect to go in production next month, we expect the 4K Transfer of Frivolous Lola to be done in a few weeks at another lab. We will keep you posted when things gets replicated and printed. Do know as we want the best quality possible, we like to take the time to double check all beforehand. "Haastige spoed is zelden goed" - an old Dutch saying!

Best regards, Nico B

Anyone know if and when these films will be released for those of us that couldn’t take part? Wanted too but couldn’t pay so far in advance.

Love the artwork. Happy for any Tinto upgrades (particularly one's with Serena Grandi).

And maybe one day we'll get all Russ Meyer's filmography upgraded..:wor ship:

Back in April I won ‘Frivolous Lola’ from Blu-Ray.com’s exclusive giveaway. I never received it, and just realized it hasn’t even came out yet. So there is still hope.

Does anyone know if Cult Films plan to release more films after these two - and if so what?

Meanwhile a huge number of movies discussed on these forums are available to watch for free somewhere online. "lol".

Most folks here are specifically interested in seeing films they enjoy in the best A/V presentation possible, and shitty illegal rips of ancient transfers most definitely do not qualify.

This also appears to be the first comment you've made in this thread, so I'm curious about your motivation for going out of your way to wander in here to post this. This is definitely not the "gotcha"/"I am very smart" moment that you think it is.

So what's your point, exactly? Legitimately asking.

Why buy any movies then? So many are available for free if you know how to [redacted] them.

Chill bro. I was just joking keeping in mind the genre of these films.

I got a massive collection of boutique label films on 4K btw.

Oh and I would buy Malizia in a heartbeat.

It was such a moronic comment I wasn’t sure how to reply to it. I mean why even be on this site if that’s your attitude. I have some of these films on dvd but don’t want to watch them as I want to see the, in better quality. Oh well.

I have all of Brass's films on the best available Blu-rays, including these 2 4K's on order.

I did not take his comment to be "why buy these on blu-ray/4K when you can stream an inferior quality for free". Not at all. Not sure why so many of you are, but oh well. It just sounded like a little jokey comment to me.

I'm extremely relaxed, bro--just as I was when I made my original post.

As far as the bolded portion goes, that's kinda my point. You sauntered into the thread to make a joke because you find the genre to be beneath you (so to speak).

And let's be very clear: You're the guy whose primary contribution to many threads is listing the nitty gritty bitrate details of any given release. That's your main function. More than most folks, you should understand any forum user's interest in seeing titles in their collection in the best possible presentation.

But you decided to come in here to make a condescending joke. Still curious about why you would do that. Seems a lot like threadcrapping...

Don't throw a stone and then hide your hand.

Cool. What does that have to do with your judge-y comment?
