I'd be vaguely curious to watch that, if only to see how the 'filmmakers' (& I use that term very loosely) justify the complete ineptitude of every single aspect of this car crash.

That featurette is on the dvd, so nothing new but the scan.

I think I'll just stick with the Spanish edition (bootleg as it may be). I've already punished myself enough with that copy for completion sake.

This is why I’m glad I don’t need to own every film in a series just for completion’s sake. Ill just happily stay with only Creepshow 1 & 2. Saw this one time & that was enough for me.

You technically own the Creepshow Trilogy with Tales from the Darkside The Movie so you’re set.

I apologize for being pedantic, but no, it's not *technically* a Creepshow movie. It's one in spirit, sure; but not in fact.

No surprise this was coming and being a site exclusive as Shout owns the Taurus Entertainment catalog (They produced this and other titles they controlled like Kentucky Fried Movie).

Anything actually decent in that catalog or is Creepshow III the cream of the crop

I'll pass. I love the original and like part 2. I have the SF Collector's Edition of the first one and the Arrow of Creepshow 2 on Blu-ray too but I've never seen this one. There's so many other movies I want but, hey if you want it, go for it.

Kentucky Fried Movie is far better than Creepshow III. I don't even mind it.

United Film Distribution Company (operated from 1975-1988) eventually merged with Taurus Entertainment (a unit of United Artists Theaters, not to be confused with MGM/UA). The UFDC/Taurus titles Shout controls are:

Knightriders (MGM controls the master elements and international rights through the Manson International/Orion catalog)

Exterminators of the Year 3000

Sleepaway Camp

Day of the Dead

Terminal Entry

Mortuary Academy

Heaven Becomes Hell

Open House

Wired

Beverly Hills Brats

Elliot Fauman, Ph.D.

Old Explorers

Some of these have HD masters with Blus, others don't.

I doubt Wired is ever going to get a Blu-ray release unless Shout decides to release it as a site exclusive.

I’m surprised Shout hasn’t done a 4K for Day of the Dead already, especially since they apparently have some kind of exclusive rights to it in the US. They haven’t re-released the film since their original Blu-ray a decade ago that’s still in print.

I bought the import blu-ray a month back, after being a longtime lover of the first 2 flicks, but somehow never getting my hands on the third.

i got a deal on it. i wish i hadn't. what a cluster. calling it a mess is an insult to cockroach infested piles of moldy towels bunched crustily in a corner of a cutrate tijuana bordello. the ONLY positive in this disaster is the way the stories somewhat interconnect/intermingle in the background, rather than feeling like stories in isolated, unrelated universes. that's not a very large positive.

The completist in me almost bought this but I’m so glad I popped the dvd in before hitting the trigger. There’s a reason I don’t remember this one… I couldn’t get passed the first 10 minutes even at 1.5x speed.

It gets even worse after that. The writing is very racist and misogynistic. It's like the script was written by one of the incel trolls on Bloody Disgusting.com who complains about the Shudder series being "woke".

They're looking for the negative.
