I really enjoyed Sleepaway Camp 3 for what it was. Loads of kill scenes and no serious plot. I kind of liked it as a kick back movie that wasn't taking itself too seriously.

Sleepaway Camp 3 kind of sucks mainly due to being censored to oblivion, but it's Citizen Kane compared to the vast majority of films Jess Franco ever made, or either of the other two movies they currently have announcements for!

I'm confused why they created this sublabel - isn't this the same thing as Redemption? I mean, they've released scads of trashy Euro movies under that banner before, seems like these would have fit right in. Is Redemption somehow a separate company that all the stuff seems to get listed on Kino's site?

I believe Redemption used to be it's one company and then Kino did distribution for them. Similar to Code Red and Scorpion.

Here is Redemption's DVD release of Bloody New Year (now a VS title):

I am guessing Kino is trying to separate out some of the more bizarre, trashy or weird offerings from it's main line (though they used to comingle everything in the past).

You might be right but I was think of how successful Lionsgate has been with their Vestron Line which also uses numbers on the spine, people love collections (I know I do) even if what makes it a collection is flimsy like old Vestron titles or what Kino considers to be all Cult Films.

I know I am in the minority, but to me this is the only Sleepaway Camp sequel that's worth a damn. I would so be in for a blu-ray of this (hopefully not in a set with the others can't stand 2 and 3)

Decided to preorder Alien Outlaw and Dark Power (Along with Cujo) Not really sold on Lorna but could change my mind as it gets closer to release date...

I highly recommend get that Jess Franco film, actually I highly recommend getting ALL of Franco's films. It is an excellent film & Pamela Stanford, who plays the title role, says it is the best/her favourite of the Franco films she appeared in.

There's ONLY 2 & BOTH have had prior BD releases. Pity the one non-English friendly extra, with Alain Petit, on the French BD of Lorna the Exorcist isn't included on the upcoming US BD. Would prefer DVD-only/previously unreleased Franco films to get released including EVERY version of each of them.

Noticed someone mentioned it on Facebook that Jess Franco's Sinner: The Secret Diary of a Nymphomaniac, which was released on BD in France by Le Chat Qui Fume, is getting a US BD upgrade by Kino & that Tim Lucas mentioned that he'd done a commentary for it.

The UK Indicator release of this Norman J Warren film is better as it has loads more extras, albeit the commentary is different to the one on the US BD release.
