Watched this tonight. Hadn't seen it before and despite more holes in the plot that the car which was shot up when the old man came to warn Ma of Michael coming after him, it was mindless fun.

There was a prison scene where Ma says 'F you' to the white bald guy but there's no sound for that part? I could have sworn it was in one of the trailers on the disc.

I've seen Regina in many movies but hadn't realised that she died so young

I discovered this film just now from the Fopp newsletter that I subscribed to. I think I'll be buying this, soon. I really liked Brandon Lee's charisma and athleticism in the few films of his that I watched. I especially loved watching Rapid Fire, and I also really liked Showdown in Little Tokyo (though it felt incomplete and I thought it should have been at least 30 minutes longer- I wish the director would be allowed to release his extended version). I also really look forward to a BD release of Rapid Fire- perhaps 88 can release it? I only have an old DVD of it.

I look forward to watching Legacy of Rage.

I enjoyed Laser Mission too, but I can't in anyway call it good.

I'd say it's worth watching if you're Brandon Lee though.

Yeah this movie wasnt perfect, thats for sure. I liked the first half, but it fell apart in the 2nd half due to what you describe among other reasons.
