Arrow needs to give us at least Friday the 13th Part 1-8 in 4K. That would be terrific. I still enjoy Shout's huge Blu-ray collection, but 4K HDR would be even better if done right (unlike Paramount's botched Part 1 in 4K).

I'm really up for this. Obviously it comes with the caveat of 'it is what it is' but i think it's an absolute popcorn banger and Marcus Nispel/Daniel Pearl make it look like a million bucks. I plan to switch my brain off and enjoy the hell out of it. Importing it to the UK for sure.

Considering the remake squeezes the first three Friday movies into one film and the plot still feels light, that suggests they aren't exactly tightly paced. As for the 'zoomers' gatekeeping, I first saw 4 when it was originally released on VHS.

Derek Mears solidified himself as the best Jason in the series with this remake. If they revive this franchise, he should be the obvious choice.

Should I preorder from Diabolic or wait for Amazon? Diabolic charges right away vs Amazon charges when it ships out.

Gotta' go with Richard Brooker all the way. While just a hallucination, him unmasked with blood dripping down his face as he claws at the window in animalistic fashion upon seeing Chris is the creepiest sequence in the series. Plus, he just has a unique build and way of moving that I thought really worked for the character.

I was on the fence, but decided to get this one. I think the opening condensing and everything involving the hostage sister are the weakest parts. Good atmosphere, though, and some enjoyable characters. I expected to hate this like I did TCM 2003, but I didn't and it's sorta grown on me.

Recently it seems the botched grade on the first Friday 4K is a result of decisions made by the director, I'm not holding my breath on that getting fixed soon

I'll pick this up despite the fact that this film never looked very good. Even in theaters.

I'm ordering from Bullmoose whenever they list it for sale. No sales tax in FL, they charge when it ships (my preference), I usually receive my movie pre-orders a day before street date, and they ship in a box.

Just sucks they have increased the minimum to $75 for free shipping.

It’s kind of worrisome that this wasn’t announced with having a new 4K restoration…

Agreed. Funny enough, I placed an order under $75 recently and realized later that I was charged shipping. Another upside to ordering with them is they ship items separately as they come in stock, they don’t wait to ship everything at once like other sites.
