I was expecting to see Hamm vs Billy bob vs billy bob's son fireworks in proper, fully developed Season 2.

MOK is also getting it right women wise. atleast so far. law inforcement wise and their wives and families. Hated to see mother character written off so easily. that was the strongest female character.

I know Tommy loves Angela for some reason, but as a character she's just painful and pointless to watch (other than that time she gave old folks a good time). Tommy and Cami would make a much better couple especially now that she's a widow (too soon, yeah I know).

That phone conversation after oil rig aweful tragedy between him and billy bob, I said, "jeez.....I guess thats how a billionaire reacts. there was this one line by hamm. I was like, this hamm is set up perfectly for fireworks!"

here, aging Hamm looked straight out of MAD MEN. his younger career being ad man, his mid-age career transitioned to Mckan Ericson with love for fast cars and powerful engines (MADMEN kinda hinted at that), which made older hamm easily transition into oil tycoon in business developing that cutting edge high octane petrodollars eventually hitting the jackpot and becoming a billionaire.

that little Hamm reaction in that oil cartel meeting was straight out of "Don Draper" playbook. I was like "this is exactly how Don would've reacted"

I've never watched Mad Men, but Jon Hamm has easily become one of my favorite actors that I'll check out that show, thank you for bringing it up.

I just bought this.... I hope that it's good. I didn't like Yellowstone and I didn't see the spin-offs. I love Sicario, though. I hope that I will enjoy this. Billy Bob Thornton has been a favorite of mine since Sling Blade (which definitely needs to be on 4K someday).

Landman Season Two to premiere in November 2025 - Sam Elliot joins cast

Paramount has officially announced that Landman Season 2 will premiere in November 2025, right on schedule with the show's first season. The news came directly from Chris McCarthy, co-CEO of Paramount Global, during the company’s Q1 2025 earnings call. Season 1 of Landman, which starred Billy Bob Thornton as crisis manager Tommy Norris and Ali Larter as his demented wife Angela, premiered in mid-November 2024 and ran weekly through January 2025. Season 2 looks set to follow that same release pattern. Sam Elliott is joining the cast as a series regular — a fitting addition for a gritty West Texas oil drama rooted in power, money, and consequence.

I’m so glad that season two is coming out this year, and I love the addition of Sam Elliott to the cast.
