Needless to say, I was a ginormous fan of his sublime TV series "Get a Life." And I may have been one of the few who truly enjoyed his 1994 star-turn Cabin Boy. Alas, it bombed. When his former boss David Letterman had him on as a guest a few months later, Letterman asked, "So, are you looking forward to returning to your old job at The Gap...?"

Anyway, I be lovin' me some Chris Elliott.

Paula Poundstone? Well, I won't be discussing her....
As a fancy lad, I picked up Kino's Cabin Boy Bluray day one. Apparently it didn't sell all that well, but it's out of print now and can only be had for a fancy price.

I don't know Ms Poundstone. Is that Raquel Welch pose in the Gremloids coverart supposed to be her?

Universal, Paramount, and MGM/UA have really played ball when it comes to opening their 3-D vaults. Kudos to KL and 3-DFA for making it happen, and to the studios for allowing it. It's been a dream come true.

All three studios have a title each in the works, and fingers crossed for Flight to Tangier. Amazing having all this Golden Age gold to look forward to.

Yes. I guess that's a younger version. Without her signature tie!

We finished our stereoscopic restoration work several months ago and are waiting on the rights holder to sign off on the digital cleanup. Once that’s done, we’ll create the anaglyphic master from the final cleaned files, and it will be finished.

I have just checked my notes and we finished our 3-D restoration work in mid-February. It’s been in digital cleanup - and subsequent QC of the cleanup - since then.

We’re now almost 6 months into the digital cleanup and QC process. Usually this process takes 4 to 6 weeks. This just goes to show that things do not always happen quickly. Sigh.

Silver Age 3D is the most rewarding for those of us who love pop-outs so I wouldn't care if it took 36 months, far better it be done right than it be rushed out.

Last November I was so happy to learn about this upcoming release and I know any work done by Bob, Greg and the entire 3D Archives staff is worth further waiting for.
