Good luck to those who got an order in--may you at least get one or two of your items shipped!

The current "correct" selection of titles is simply laughable considering all can be had for less via the current Barnes and Noble 50%-off sale, minus any site exclusives. Also, you get the benefit of not dealing wit Arrow CS and being able to do in-person returns. If the regular blu-rays were 3 for $50, I might bite. At 3 for $70? Fuhgeddaboudit!

My order was for three 4K preorders so, of course, my entire order was cancelled. I’m not surprised and no real loss but I can never seem to luck out with pricing errors like this!

Just got an email stating they cancelled The Cell 4K. I wonder how they'll adjust the charged amount.

In some ways I understand, but at the same time, they could absolutely have honored the orders of those who didn’t gouge them or at least offered a major discount as a way of acknowledging their error. Sometimes you screw up and you just take the hit…in the end you come out better. Those of us who hadn’t made a huge order for pre-orders could have had those prices honored.

If they actually think they're gonna get away with that wacky prorate, they got one very stern email coming!

Edit : I will note that my other order with two Pre-orders and Demolition Man were prorated correctly, so it appears to just be the sets that are being prorated oddly.

It is interesting that they only seem to be cancelling pre-order titles. You'd think they'd cancel some of the others too since they weren't meant to be included either.

Only Cruising as a pre-order got cancelled, Shawscope 3 and The Addiction awaiting shipment and the charge prorated. If they ship, it'll save me $70 from B&N orders I'd placed.

My order is "Processing" and "Awaiting Shipment". I am still awaiting the cancellation email. But, if it somehow goes through, I will be ecstatic.

For 1 of my orders (Shaw Vol 3, The Cell, Crusiing), they canceled the 2 preorders.

I sure hope they don’t try to ship out Shaw Vol 3 at full price! I sent them a message to just cancel Shaw Vol 3. Let’s see if they read it and respond in time.

Yeah just 5 minutes ago. No idea on the price. I paid with PayPal, so I guess I'll see how much when the refund for the other 2 goes through.

I think the prorating was built in initially, although not sure how they decided the numbers. If you go to your account, go to orders, and click in on the order it tells how they break down the pricing. For instance, my Shawscope 3 is still awaiting shipment at around $45, after two preorders were cancelled. Still a lot cheaper than I’ll get it anywhere else.

It looks like the 4k hellraiser set is going to ship out at $37 which isnt bad at all
Im getting the cell 4k at b&n and i didnt really need deep blue sea 4k

Despite the amazing discount on the Shawscope set, getting Cruising at a substantial discount was my main motivation in placing the order.
It would have allowed me to cancel my (near full price) pre-order elsewhere.
I went to cancel SS and the Lukas Moodysson set, but wasn't able to.
Looks like those are going to ship after all.

I realize I'm in the minority on this, but if they weren't going to honor the deal, I wish they would have cancelled everything in the order.
Especially since they are prorated, not a straight $23.33 each.

Im sure you can sell your Shawscope set if you don't want it. Hell you could sell it for double what you paid for it and use it on Crusing.
