IMDB notes this movie had DD EX, DTS ES, and SDDS mixes. So what exactly is the issue with Atmos?

They only have whenever it involves older titles originally mixed in mono or stereo.

Which is the "original" ? No one of them is a superset of the other two.

Once you realize this, you should also realize worrying about Atmos is pointless

Help me understand how you are not okay with watching a movie mixed for 3 completely different digital surround formats in Atmos because its not what was originally exhibited theatrically - but you are okay with watching said film in HDR with infinite contrast when it was exhibited theatrically in SDR 2000:1 contrast - a massively larger departure from the original theatrical experience than Atmos audio is. The Atmos presumably was mixed from the original stems, just like the movie's 3 other digital soundtracks were.

If you want "the original theatrical experience," watch the old Blu-ray on a 2K DLP projector. It also has the 5.1, btw.
