Surprised so many here take issue with the transfer. Been awhile since I watched it but it stands out as one of my sublime viewing experiences. I recall digging my Japanese Blu for the overcooked colors as it really seemed to suit the movie, to the extent that the later Shout with its more natural color couldn't help but feel slightly faded by comparison. I seem to recall the VS leaning more toward the former so it looked perfect to my eyes.

But even apart from the transfer and the physical goodies the VS is essential as Road House is one of my favorite movies of all time and I want all those exclusive extras. Gotta say though -- and I know many here would disagree -- it's one of those titles like Jaws or The Thing where all these editions later I can honestly say I'm all extra'd out. Fully sated for life. The Shout was already jam-packed -- truly a Road House fan's dream -- and then the VS filled in the few remaining gaps. If the Arrow offers anything new extras-wise I'm sure I won't be able to resist as I've bought it somewhere in the neighborhood of 7 or 8 times across the formats so what's one more. Will be curious to see what they offer.
She's a bootiful limited edition - a real labour of love. People aren't wrong re: the trademark VS strong saturation/lobster faces, but I still found the presentation to be rather delightful upgrade over the old MGM master and i've been enjoying it for a good few years now so don't feel regretful in the least about not having waited for the Arrow (which i've long suspected as coming ever since it appeared on that Park Circus UHD list).

If I remember correctly, The Shout had a noticeable authoring issue (gamma, maybe?), hence its slightly weird appearance.

But just one coaster? So, i'm sitting there at the family BBQ with my awesome Double Deuce coaster and the rest of my family and friends are sitting there with their regular boring coasters? It's going to cause resentment and hostility, resulting in a brawl.

I can't help but think about the artist's Facebook post. "I convinced then to use a clear slip sleeve." Did Arrow just ignore him? Lmao.

Wondering about that too ..Maybe there will be a store exclusive version or something. We'll see, official announcements and Arrow store listings should be posted in about 15 mins or so.

Oh, yeah

Maybe they're punishing him for leaking the title. Taking away his beloved clear slip sleeve.

I normally order through DiabolikDVD but I understand their relationship with Vinegar Syndrome and assuming that's why they are not shipping to North America but I still want it in my collection.

It looks like Orbit is also not carrying this, I'd guess it's similar to The Keep where Vinegar Syndrome is blocking it. I'm gonna grab this from Arrow directly but it's disappointing VS finds this necessary, especially when theirs has been available for a while now - it's not like this is going to eat up their profits.

I'm checking Atomic and it appears that they aren't selling it either. I was hoping to get it from a US retailer but it does look like we may have to buy from Arrow direct or Zavvi US for it.

They could release a new edition of Road House on 4K each week, and I would buy them all. This sucker is going right next to my Vinegar Syndrome VSU edition.

It would have been a goated month with just TGTBTU but now Road House, Witness(never got the US one) and Dark City? Yeah pre-ordered already. Cannot freaking wait for the next months of Arrow slate (and cry about whatever QC issues await).
