I'm not a fan of steelbook design usually, but I actually really like this one. Can't wait to get this!

Default Directors cut

Does anyone know why they aren't putting the directors cut on there as well? I thought the extra few bits really were nice additions to the narrative.

Agreed. My issue is this, Willow, the Cameron titles -- these are all obvious "traditional catalog sellers" that should've been released at the outset of the format. Not years into it. So sure better late than never and all that, and I'll buy it, but their support has taken far too long to get going when the format has been out and about for this long.

Man 1: Don't want a steelbook. Will wait for a standard if they're planning on doing one.

I'm super excited that it's coming out, and I will definitely buy the steelbook, but I absolutely ****ing hate steelbooks. Discs are a pain in my ass to get out, and sometimes I have to almost bend the disc in half just to get it out of the hub. Also, you have to worry about hidden dents under the J-card spine slashes and scratches, or my new favorite one is where the case doesn't want to snap shut completely. That's a fun one. I just wish that these studios would give us the option of choosing if we want a steelbook or just a regular Amaray case.

I know they have remasters of Devil Wears Prada, The Sandlot, Mrs. Doubtfire, The Santa Clause, and Miracle on 34th Street -- if they can just release these + a Blu-ray of Homeward Bound, I'll be happy.

Absolutely thrilled by this news. One of my all-time favorites.

Still one of the greatest experiences of my life was 20 years ago, sitting in a small college theater playing this with Kurt Russell a few rows behind me laughing his ass off at every line uttered by Val Kilmer.

If it is Hunt's Top 50 Catalogue Countdown that I have to be thankful for then so be it. As much grief as I give him, he's still got more clout than the army of utterly clueless YouTubers that people take as gospel.

I'd be all kinds of happy if they surprise drop these one per month over the next 50 months Curious to know what else was in that list!

I mean, technically, they sort of are…with a catch.

PRETTY WOMAN dropped on 4K on digital on Tuesday. A few months back, it was CON AIR on 4K digital.

Late last year, it was SIGNS and the SIXTH SENSE on disc and digital. SOMETHING is going over there with Disney and their catalog titles. And whether it’s disc or digital, I am happy that this is happening.

Pretty Woman would be cool. I saw it on the big screen recently, but it was just the old DCP.
