Is there any confirmation on if this is a brand new 4K scan of the OCN? I can't find any information on this.

Ahhhh, I couldn't find that. But I was looking at the product page on my phone so might have missed it. I will definitely import this then. I love this film so much and I don't see any mention of a UK release at the moment. If they do it well the Atmos mix could be incredible. Especially for that final shootout.

Mine just got dropped off (very well packaged from LG, no issues with the steelbook or slip. I cant wait to watch this underrated film tonight.

The lenticular cover is actually pretty neat, I forgot it came with that.

I'm excited to hear this in Atmos, especially the finale. I know quite a few military like myself who single this out for some of the tactical details throughout the film including the shootouts and way they handle certain situations (the use of body armor, how they bound back while being covered).

There's a great episode of Beers and Breakdowns on YouTube where two former Green Berets review this and they give it pretty high marks for tactical accuracy.

My copy arrived this morning. The movie looks great -- 8/10 The sound, though? I noticed some audio hissing in a lot of scenes. Does anyone else notice this?

I only made it about 45 min in so far, but didn't notice any hissing. Can you remember a specific scene? If so, I will check it and see

I hear the hissing in scenes with dialogue. I popped the German Blu-ray into my player and sampled the 2.0 audio track. I didn't hear any hissing at all. The new 4K only has one track -- the Atmos Track -- and I downmix everything on a 2.1 system. I'm sure the hissing is on my end.

None on my side when I watched it. I watch it on a 7.2.4 system. No noticeable hissing sounds. In fact it's quite good.

My receiver wasn't downmixing the Atmos track properly. Either that, or my Panasonic Blu-ray player wasn't downmixing properly. I noticed that my subwoofer wasn't working in addition to the hissing. Today, I played the disc again and everything sounded correct. The audio sounds GREAT on this release. Something was wrong with my equipment.
