Yeah, it definitely will not make it to Vinegar Syndrome's next sale. Hopefully, with the success of this, we will see more of these films. Glad they're putting these out regardless.

I believe there were still about 1000 left on the VS site which will be available again on the 1st.

Well, this is one of the best blind buys I’ll ever make. #1 is so fun and worth the price of admission alone.

Went ahead and nabbled a copy through DiabolikDVD.

I'm still aiming to 100% the entire VSA line, so I don't want to miss out on this one.

Got my shipping notification today. Can't wait. Watched a lot of martial arts films recently so will ease up on them so I'm not burnt out by the time it arrives.

I watched Burning Ambition a couple weeks ago and hot damn did it kill. Bringing Fukasaku's Shogun's Samurai to the modern day, it offers all manner of crime world intrigue with fight scenes that rank with the most legendary in HK cinema. If VS, or any other label, gives it a proper release, it's an instant buy.

I used to have HK vhs of that. One of the first and still one of best contemporary MA films I have seen. Particularly Frankie Chan vs Jeff Falcon fight is damn impressive. Hopefully it eventually gets BR release.

Iron Angels been scheduled arrival on tuesday, been bit restless when got shipping notification as looking forward to see part 2 on HD(and others too).

Got this in this past weekend but I have so much to watch that IDK when I will get to it. Anyway, how's the encoding? The booklet doesn't really provide info on it and I'm hoping there are no compression artifacts on Disc 1 due to the fact that they crammed two films on there.

In my opinion, of those you mentioned, the IRON ANGELS films are closest to LADY REPORTER.

As for the IRON ANGELS set, it's now one of my favorite releases/box sets.

I really dig Tony Stella's art for this release. I think he nailed it.

I watched all the films over four days and enjoyed them tremendously. I've owned them all on various tapes and discs, but their A/V presentation here easily tops every release of them that came before. Each film has great stuff, but my favorite scene is either the climactic fight from the first film or Moon Lee's battle with minions that involves the nunchaku.

Big cheer for the extras, too. I noticed that Hwang Jang-Lee wasn't mentioned (hmmm, maybe once, but not discussed) in any of the interviews. I thought that was odd. Otherwise, they were great, and people were quite candid in their comments. Many questions I've had about the films were answered. Excellent bonus features. I haven't listened to the audio commentaries yet, aside from the first 15 minutes of Samm Deighan’s track on the first film. Despite having just started it, it's good- she seems well-prepared and clearly did a lot of research. I also like that we have a female perspective on a "Girls With Guns" film, and I believe the three essays in the book are all written by women. Nice touch, Vinegar Syndrome.

This is a top-notch release that I highly recommend to fans of the films and Hong Kong and action cinema fans in general.

I've never seen these or really anything from the girls with guns sub-genre before, but I picked this up based on the positive responses of all who mention it.

I really enjoyed Yes Madam & She Shoots Straight releases from Eureka (UK) and have been enjoying plenty of Cynthia Rochrock releases as well as the first Inspector Wears Skirts movie from 88 Films, though I didn't get the rest of the set.

Hoping to get round to watching these at some point and possibly exploring more movies like this going forward.

Seems so strange to announce and release a title so close to partners month. You would think they would of just waited a few weeks.

I wish in book there would have been some movie posters instead of those b/w pictures but otherwise it is absolutely stellar release and forever grateful VS for IA trilogy.

In the 3rd movie what the hell was that weird bunch of scences with a military nut beating and even killing a soldier. Who then is back alive in the next scence.

Felt like it should of been in a IFD movie.

What was the tease about a American Assassin who never turns up as well.

The third one had me in stitches. It was awesome, in an IFD way as you say. Especially the random scenes with Gaddafi (LOL) yelling at this one guy in a locked room they never leave. It was like some cheap gay s/m porn setup inserted into an Iron Angels movie. Honestly, the film is way up there for me in entertainment value. They just said f*** it and shot a bunch of stuff in parallel, did a ton of coke and pasted everything together. Why did no one tell me the third was trash gold? It has great action and is consistently entertaining and outrageous. It beats the pants off the second one, which is better made but completely misguided and only comes alive in the legendary finale.

90+ left. Amazing. This would have sold out a day after the sale ended if they had not done Partner Month, which is insane since the sale was what, five or six days long?
