Has it only been 10 years? Given the amount of MCU films that have come out, I would've thought it would closer to 15.
Nevertheless, despite the grievances some filmmakers have expressed over the proliferation of superhero/comic movies (and the undergoing attempt to create "universes"), I have to really give it to Marvel Studios for coming up with its massive success of its franchises. Makes me think "were all of these planned along?" as it is quite unbelievable that almost every single MCU film was a hit (commercially and critically) and every single film is heavily attached to a thread which concludes to where the Avengers Infinity War is. One can really see how the MCU films have shaped what the film industry is at the moment, and that big film actors/actresses wouldn't hesitate to be a part of it. And from where it stands now, Marvel Studios seem to have more up their sleeves. |

Yeah it was an awesome film and I think it delivered on all levels. IM was a favorite and to see it come to the screen in such a way was awesome. IM 2 was a bit of let down imo but I still like it.

Not quite, but you have to give it all the credit for nailing their first movie off the bat like that. It was fantastic for 90% of the time let down by a slightly weaker ending. It's in my top 5 but at the rate that the MCU are coming out with hit after hit it's in danger of slipping outside of the top 5. But that's a good thing because we're getting so many great movies, it's like asking which of your children is the best, and to be frank there's so little between number 1 and number 10 on my list it's crazy hard to rate them. But my top 5 currently it looks like this
1. Thor: Ragnarok 2. Infinity War 3. GOTG vol. 1 4. Dr Strange 5. Iron Man |
