The Sega announcement does not specify if a Q1 release is Calendar or Fiscal year, nor does it say exactly that it's Japan's Q1 Fiscal year. How do you arrive at a logical conclusion from this? Until this is all cleared up or we get a solid release date, I will continue to speculate and doubt a Q1 Calendar release. I will otherwise be more than happy to have the mud rubbed in my face because it will mean I'll get to play the game sooner, but I'm not going to get my hopes up.

I said everything and nothing, I mearly pointed out in a terrible cliche the potential outcome of speculating. If you disagree then worry not, if you agree worry not, because its a forum where everyone speculates, and follows there belief.. be it right, be it wrong... I say now...

The threads of time have not combined to make that present yet, so I can neither agree or disagree and I choose not to speculate so thus I only hope for the best.

My only point was I was trying to convey what I think - or speculate - would happen and never intended to say that the Q1 article is wrong. The "mud in your face" comment told me that you missed my point, and for that I apologize if I missed your point in return.

This part makes me nervous:

It goes on to say it will release in 2010. Now, if I'm reading this correctly, it means the Colonial Marines game (and the RPG) will not release until at least later in 2010, right? Ugh.

Im trying to find a actual link to just this, but so far the only place that mentioned this release was so far from joystic IM placing the filter in just in case.. as this was found in one of there articles from someone who was not a previous ps3 fanboy writer.

Good ears man. A key sound effect was the so-called "peacock elephant" scream, the sound the aliens make when they are killed. The original sound effect was a recording of a peacock shrieking at the same time a baby elephant trumpeted
