Could it be that studios are waiting for the extra BD protection not implemented yet before even considering releasing their bread winners in HD?

Crank is the number 1 pre-order at dvd empire....and The Descent has an unheard of 84% ratining at Rotten Tomatoes as far as horror flicks go.

I liked Underworld Evolutions....but not as much as the first.

Different strokes.....and you know the rest.

85% on RottenTomatoes.com, won a zillion awards and made the most $ of any film. Titanic might not be to one's liking but to say that it is a "bad" film goes against what most people and critics and academy voters in the world thought.
It's love story 101 set on the Titanic. Yawn. It seems for this movie the marketing hype blinded most people to how bad it was. Notice there was a lot of hype on how authentic the China was, the attention to detail, etc? Nothing on the plot or the acting. I'll gladly be in the minority on this one.

Glad to see that 86% of the critics including Roger Ebert and the NYTimes are wrong and you're right. If you don't like the film, fine, to each his own, but the vast majority of people, critics and the academy did. So to say it's a "bad" film is just your opinion. It won Best Picture and is generally not perceived as a "bad" film. Guess what, other people have other opinions too! WooHoo! Ain't life grand?

For every steak there's a burger, and we eat both sometimes

Shouldn't that color always be Blu though?

It seems to me you don't think I am entitled to my opinion, or must I be a slave to the masses and echo their mindless adoration of this movie?

Please explain why Titanic was a good movie? The only redeeming point I saw was a 1/2 naked Kate.
