That short was awesome and a TV show is in the works.

They need to release these on BD badly, who agrees with my ideal extras including the TV cut of Critters 2's deleted scenes? remember the extended TV cut with those scenes from the script like the Bus Driver explaining what the krites look like to Lee approving of centerfold form uttering "Body fit" as Charlie is lusting for her saying "Body fit indeed"?

HD master exists and I saw the first one around a year ago in HD and it looked very good. 30th anniversary is in 2016 so wouldn't be surprised if in the least the first one got a blu ray release if not all of them

Yeah, what pisses me off is A LOT of titles have HD masters, yet studios for one reason or another still keep holding out on releasing them!

Would love to get at least Critters 1 & 2 at some point.

I have the box set with all four films but would really love to have the first two on Blu Ray in a steelbook for each film.

Critters 2 is not a good movie.. but I LOVE it. I am kind of surprised the box set hasn't hit blu ray yet, but if it ever did I would buy it.

I just noticed that on VUDU's disc to digital website their is an option to choose the blu-ray of 'Critters' and 'Critters 2'... I wonder if this means something is coming, finally!

It's a New Line/Warner property. Arrow would have better luck squeezing blood from a stone than acquiring these.

This is about the Only horror boxset on DVD I now still have! Someone has to release these soon. I grew up loving these movies!

Re-watched all four of these over the weekend and hold out hope for some sort of release. The first is a classic and the second and third are a lot of fun. Didn't love four, but it has its moments.

They could if they wanted to. When you look at what they've released over the past few years, you'd think Critters could sell better than many of them.

Critters 2 not good?! Obviously you said you love it...but just to give it some praise:
1) Critterball!
2) 1 of the early rare examples of Easter themed horror, critter eggs getting mistaken for easter eggs=brilliant
3)Charlie as bounty hunter!
4)the only other Critters movie to feature Brad Brown as the hero!
5)bounty hunter sex change transformation!
6)hungry heffer theme song!
7)guy in bunny suit getting eaten and crashing through church window

I'm so frustrated none of the Critters movies have made it to Blu. An 11 year old home video format still hasn't delivered a 3 sequel pretty well known 80s horror/scifi movie that was backed and released theatrically by a major studio in New Line, that I know did well on home video, and they released them all individually on DVD, which are the versions I own, and I know they rereleased them as a 4 pack set. DVDs came out in 2003, just basically 6 years into DVD's lifespan.

Just never would've thought it'd take this long as the whole series made it to DVD so early on in DVD, and my personal DVD buying. The related movies Ghoulies, Troll 2, and freaking Hobgoblins have all made it to Blu first, and I don't think any of those ever did the money or have the following of the Critters series. I'm still waiting on Munchies too but at least that's way more obscure than Critters. What is with New Line/Warner? I'd even take bare bones releases just to have them all in HD.
