100 days!!!! You might not be guaranteed it though. I usually stick with a solid 200 day pre-order, that way no one gets it before me.

I love Michael Keaton as Batman as well, and I'm actually more excited for those movies to come out (hopefully) later this year.

I would probably be more excited for the Adam West Batman as well if it weren't $27.95

I think I'm in the minority when I say I didn't love Batman Begins. Very much looking forward to Dark Knight though. From the trailer alone, it looks twice as good to me.

I'll just get the movie itself because I'll be getting the Anthology as well...

Yeah the extra money for the stuff (Crap) just seems pointless, unless you're into collecting $1.00 comic books. Nothing special in this gift set, just give me the movie!

I remember when Special Editions or Collector's Editions were just that...you paid more, and for the money, you received more in the way of audio/video content. If I want screen grabs, I'll use PowerDVD and make my own. If I want plastic toys (which I abhor) I'll go to Wal-Mart. If I want a pedestrian book on the making of the film, I'll go to official website and get the same thing for free.

You want me to pay more? Then you give up the goods as well, and make a set that is stuffed with insight and archival footage and interviews and tests and all the other things film buffs love.

There's no tangible difference between the Gift Set and Single-Disc, besides a bunch of mass produced junk with no serious value whatsoever.

Single disc for me, thanks. If Warner Bros wants to make a gift set with additional video or audio features, then I'll consider it. Leave the toys, comics, and .02 cent lobby cards to those who dig that sort of thing.
Thanks for reminding me of why I do NOT have to buy the special edition...

Its just not that special.

For a moment I was about to get caught up in the hype. Regular Edition for me.

Also I don't know about the rest of you but I kinda want to wait to see reviews of it before I actually pay for it. I want to know if they do use the HD DVD version or if Warner actually did some work and developed the Bluray Version from the ground up (which is how everyone should be doing it).

I've got it in my shopping list on Amazon but it won't make it into the cart unless I've 100% certain that this is a significant improvement over the HD DVD version.

I'm pretty sure it's just a port of the HD-DVD one

I'm not going to get either.....

I'll buy the whole big deal when it comes out, and goes on sale for $40-$50 though...... if that takes 6 months after release, that's fine I guess.

I will just get the movie itself, that's all I want, Batman Begins with the best possibly video and audio quality.

I don't think this was answered in the thread, so I'll bring it back up. I only want the gift set if I can take the movie out and add it to my library and set everything else aside.

I'll probably just go with the single-disc, although I love this movie (by far the best Batman imho!).

I think I'll go with the Giftset simply because it doesn't cost a whole lot more.
