I really wanted Pearce for Two-Face but it looks like Eckhart will do a good job...

For some reason the idea of Johnny Depp playing an extremely dark and murderous variant of Jack Sparrow really appeals to me as a choice that 'might' live up to TDK. I can really see that, and I think it's probably the most proven talent you could select for the roll. All those crazy movies he's done and all those darker films, mix that in with a bit of Sparrow, and give it a Nolan twist... that's something I could look forward to.

It's a bit too high profile of a pick for me to get my hopes up though.

So that's not after the credits? Because that's what most of the videos said but they could also just be guessing.

No, it's not after the credits. Two-Face is in the movie for 30 minutes.

I don't know where he gets his info, but my friend was saying that in the third installment, Nolan or someone was talking about Riddler being a cyber-terrorist. An interesting take, if true.

I think Casey Affleck could bring something to the Riddler.

I'm kinda surprised that no one has mentioned Robert Downey Jr. for Riddler. He's no more of a longshot than Depp. Lot's of dark roles in his past...funny ones too.

I'll say it again. Grispen Glover as the riddler or 2 face. Either one, he's perfect.

imo if batman was going to be remade they should have done in the way of batman beyond the animated series that would have been real cool instead of doing it like a prequel type style i am not a fan of these new batman's. there will never be a batman like micheal keaton and there will never be a joker like jack nicholsan. even though i wish they would have stopped at the third batman movie because that batman and robin was dumb

I am 100% for Crispin Glover as the Riddler and Philip Seymour Hoffman as the Penguin.

For the Riddler:

Crispin Glover
Topher Grace
Johnny Depp

I can see any one of those guys doing a good job.

Crispin Glover would be great if they decide to take a dark, and bit goofy
approach to the Riddler. I always considered Kevin Spacey to be a good choice if they decide to go a bit more mature.

Example:

Make Edward Nigma a bit older than Bruce Wayne / Batman.

Have him depise socialites like Bruce Wayne for having the money, & power
without what "he" would consider a decent level of intelligence.

Make the transition into the Riddler as a way of him showing the public
how he can outsmart the bat. While at the same time having the second
villian take advantage of the whole situation.

That's just my opinion.

who would a secondary villain be...or is Riddler going to be the secondary villain.

clayface - would require too much cgi and probably wouldnt blend with the universe Nolan has created

catwoman - no, just leave that alone after the Halle Berry debacle.

Penguin - i believe nolan said he wouldnt do the penguin, but i think it could work.

Mr. Freeze - probably be hard to fit in to Nolan's batman universe.

Scarface and the Ventriloquist - i think would be pretty cool to see this one adapted and it could probably be pulled off

Killer Croc - same as above, could be cool.

whats that leave, Poison Ivy, Bane, Mad Hatter, Deadshot, Firefly....

If they stick with using mobsters in each one, the logical next step will be Rupert Thorne.

I'd prefer Depp over Glover, but I do think Hoffman would be a great Penguin. How you would get the Penguin into Nolan's world without being flat out weird... I don't know. Might have to take some serious liberties with the character.

Poison Ivy... I can almost imagine, maybe less Uma Thurman, more James Bond assassin.

I never really expected the Batman trilogy to go past three though, if it ended on 3 with something like Depp-Riddler and another more minor baddie, I'd be happy.
