Back when blu ray first hit the market, maybe around 2007, there was an ad for TWW on blu-ray. It was a promo but it never came to fruition.

I have literally been waiting YEARS for this. I have held off another run of my DVDs because I want to experience this in HD. But I'm not going to pay for digital 720p substandard nonsense.

Warner Brothers, release this soon, or I will go nuts I swear. How can the Andy Griffith show possibly get a release before this??

TWW holds so many Emmy records!!

Just release the first four seasons! No one really cares about the rest!!!

I own so many shows on Blu but this is the only one I could watch repeatedly!!!

Arrrgghhhhh!!!

Season 5 has a couple of good ones, particularly The Supremes, so I'll only amend your statement to say the first 5 seasons.

I can't believe it's been 6 years since I started commenting in this thread, and we've yet to see the release on blu-ray. It *has* to be coming, it's just a matter of when.

And when it does... you can forget about productivity at home until it's been watched once, twice, and a third time.

I would love to see this show out on blu-ray. I hope someone decides that the HD versions are already there, so lets go ahead and do it. I know its probably not likely however.

Would definitely get this series on BD. Such a pity they will decide to do DD nowadays in HD, but no BD. Ridiculous, IMHO.

Ever since the election, I've been thinking there certainly must now be ample interest in and need for vicariously returning to the comfort of the Bartlet administration - even if only vicariously - sufficient to push the powers that be into finally releasing "The West Wing" in Blu-Ray! "Chicken Soup for the National Soul"...

Maybe because The Newsroom is both HBO and a much more recent show?
