If this release is legit (theatrical version only, no unrated cut), then yeah. WB really is anti-unrated, now.

Anyone know off the top of the head how much additional footage was in the unrated cut? Is it just a couple of minutes?

Ive been hearing this the last year or so. Is Warner Bros. Seriously against releasing unrated cuts now? I mean, what's the reasoning behind it?

I have my suspicions that the Dark Knight Rises theater shooting has something to do with this.

Warner Bros. has a track record of knee-jerk decisions based on real life violence.

For instance, even though it already got an R rating, WB re-edited gore out of Valentine, yet still released it with the R rating. The actual rating would've been closer to PG-13. This came after a school shooting.

Then of course, immediately after the theater shooting, WB forced re-shoots on Gangster Squad to remove a scene taking place in a movie theater.

Man, this seriously angers me about Warner Bros not releasing their uncut films or censoring them in any way. There are some F'd up chickens in this world that like to copy or at least blame what they see in the movies, but censorship is not the answer and is not going to change one damn thing.

For anyone who has the Canada release from Alliance, does the blu-ray include both cuts or just unrated?

This is doubtful. Warner released unrated cuts of their own films as recently as September 2014:

These were in April/May 2014:

That is not applicable, as this is a comedy film, not a violent action/gangster or horror film.

Though not Blu-ray related, Warner is finally re-releasing the Uncorked Edition of Wedding Crashers on DVD via a new double feature:

https://www.amazon.com/Wedding-Singe...dp/B06WWHFCM3/

Maybe they're finally (but slowly) lifting their "ban" on unrated cuts for catalog releases.

Incidentally, the Uncorked Edition can still be purchased on Blu-ray through a quadruple feature.

Default Does anyone own this “Theatrical Version” Disc?

Blu-ray.com lists it as having both cuts. Is this true?

I don't think so. Look at the rear image. No mention of different cuts.
