This stuff is not yet reported in IMDB which is my reference point for future movie releases information. But if there's a 5th Rambo, I'll be sure to see it.

I've actually been secretly contacted by Lionsgate to write it, here's what I've got thus far:

[Show spoiler] Rambo is in seclusion somewhere, maybe Miami
Someone comes to Rambo asking his help to protect relief workers for Hurricane supplies and that rebel forces are taking all the supplies.
Rambo turns them down and goes back to his drink with the umbrella in it.
Stupid people go anyway and get captured, killed, beheaded, ear raped or whatever.
The organization sends a second group to ask for Rambo's aid.
Rambo agrees.
There is much rejoicing.
Rambo goes into the affected zone, blows shit up, shoots people, with various gory results.
Rambo rescues the aid workers and protects their ears.

That's all I've got thus far, what do you guys think?

Logan

What would possibly possess him to leave his Dad's ranch and start blowing off heads again?!

I'm having troubling seeing how they are going to unwrap the nice wrap job they did with 4.

Just curious, was that his dads home he returned too at the end of the film? He would have to be at least 120 by now.

Default Stallone confirms Rambo 5

Stallone confirms Rambo 5

TMZ caught up with Sylvester Stallone and asked him if he is looking to bring back Rocky or Rambo for another installment. Apparently, Rocky is out of the question, but Rambo is a character that Stallone is not quite done with. "Rambo would kick Rocky's ass," he said. "How do you beat the terminator, all you do is make friends with him."

When asked if that means that he would consider "Rambo V," Stallone said: "Rambo hopefully will be back. We've just got to give you guys a story that's worthwhile."

Exactly a year ago, it was revealed that Stallone would make a fifth "Rambo" movie and would use an alternate script that he wrote for "Rambo 4," which involves Rambo's daughter being kidnapped by cult leaders.

Then two months ago, Lionsgate confirmed that the studio would continue the "Rambo" franchise, stating that "Rambo 5" is on their development list and will be written and directed by Sylvester Stallone.

I'm all for violence but it was excessive. After that much I stop caring about the movie.

I must have watched rambo 4 at least 10 times.I love the 7.1,PQ and belive it or not the story.
I say bring on Rambo five,a little bit of realitly would be nice with a good story line.
I don't want to see one man take on 1000 people. It could just makes a joke of the movie

I agree that "Rambo" had a good ending to the series. I would like to see another good one though.

On a related topic: has there been any recent news on the Directer's cut of "Rambo" titled "John Rambo" as Stallone originally wanted? I would have bought IV a long time ago but I'm holding off for this.

Rambo 4 is a great film. I was totally surprised. The only reason I blind bought this on blu is because of all the positive blu-ray and amazon comments. There were too many to ignore.

I went into this movie thinking it was going to be bad. I thought it would be like the Punisher films. The movie was so good that it caused a 180 in my opinion. That says a lot about a film. A total upgrade in both story and action from the previous films.

It will be interesting to see if Stallone can replicate the magic.

Can't wait. It'd be awesome if Rambo decided to move back to the states. They need to do something different (something besides Sly Stallone killing Asians) like.. mafia or gangs. Something that's a problem in today's world. I'd love to see Rambo take out a bunch of punk kids.
