actually that is shiva in the game. if you remember from the past shows SE said that and also showed that shiva turns into a motorcycle in on the scenes. i wonder how many more summons turn into other machines. transformers eat your heart out.

holy crap that is a long time from now. i can't pre-order stuff that far in advance. it is just weird to me. so much happens in a year, and "waiting" so long for something to arrive or happen is like disrupting the time/space continuum. my wife could be pregnant, i could have a huge gut w/ beard, or i might have some new, cool job that i don't hate. who knows if the PS3 will be the elite gaming system in a year? what if there is something new coming out that we don't even know about? like the Honda 666 Gaming Console where you actually enter into the digital game world like in the movie Tron. i would have to cancel my pre-order for FFXIII.

November 2008 is about what I expected. Square is going to take a long time on this one, and hopefully for good reasons...

I agree about pre-ordering though...there's no way I'm going to pre-order something more than a year in advance.

Most likely, someone at Amazon tagged it as "more than a year off" and someone else interpreted that to mean "13 months." Even if it came from Sony, which I doubt, that date is a complete guess at this point. It may wind up being about right, but it could also be off by six months in either direction.

that should give me plenty of time to finish Final Fantasy XII. pretty sad, it's my favortie game series and i've had since it came out and i have yet to finish.
