Well I'm the first to admit when I'm wrong, and holy hell was I very very wrong!! I really thought they would have prevented this. But like Ruby said Lucifer is going to reward Sam for freeing him. He is the one who broke the final seal and so what does that mean for Sam, obviously Dean is a marked man but with Lucifer even be concerned with Sam at all as far as killing him? And man that Zachariah you know you're screwed when you can't even trust the angels. I wonder if next season is going to be very CGI heavy and the world will start falling down around them, or if it'll be a slow happening and Lucifer will spend thousands of years tearing it down?

It will probably be going slow until it all comes down in the season finale.

Here's how it's gonna go down in season 5.

Lucifer came, but is no longer interested in anything anymore. No more destruction, no more hell on earth, no more battle agains't fellow Angels. Back in the 70's when yellow eye demon contacted him, he did wanted to be free. However, after all those long years (how many years it may be where he was prison) Lucifer changed.

The story will shift focus, and it's the army of Angels who are the villians. As they say, "God has left the building", everything to the Angels is just a game. Hitting the re-play button over and over for millennia. They self fulfill their own prophecy so they can go and be bad ass in the end, the cycle repeats. They wish for armageddon. Only this time, they didn't have one, due to Lucifer changing.

So, now they will hunt down Sam, Dean, Cast, Bobby, whoever's involved in the gang. Perhaps Lucifer as well.

I think the story will be more about Lucifer's redemption. How will the king of all evil repent himself, will he be forgiven, will he help make the world a better place. He'll probably be the hero of this season. Twist!

Again, the theme is still about brothers and self sacrifice. Only this time, it's the angels/Lucifer relationship. The Angels will act as the terminator this season, and by mid-point, God will intervene, and punish the bad angels. (That last part I'm not sure. Kinda cheesy.)

But anyway, that's my view on the next season. lol

Though of course, it could still be about Lucifer and his army trying to destroy the world, etc. The typical evil try to take over the world plot, and good somehow prevail in the end. I don't know, we'll see.

Lucifer repent? I don't think so lol. Interesting theory though. I think the Angels might fulfil the prophecy and kill all demons and Lucifer too to bring peace to the world.

I wouldn't be surprise if it happen. I mean afterall, this show did portray Angels as "Dicks with wings". lol

But the paintings that were in the room where Dean was in is what I'm guessing will happen. The war between the Angels and Demons is inevitable now.

It occured to me that Sam's reward might be becoming Lucifer's host, don't know if they'll go that direction or not.

This is a pretty good show. I always thought it was pretty creepy in some parts.

At the end I was thinking "Dean! You jackass! Stop screaming Sam's name and just scream out why he should not kill Lillith!" If I was Dean I would have made more of an effort than just banging on the door calling out Sam's name. I thought that was pretty dumb.

I will now patiently wait for the next season to start. I hope it's a good one.

The war between the Angels and Demons were bound to happen anyway. So it's inevitable to begin with. That's part of the Angels plan. The painting didn't predict the future, the painting depict a prophecy they want to fulfil. But remember, Cast action is changing the course of things a bit. It'll be Angels vs. Demons vs. Angels now.

So, someone need a new painting on their wall.

That's possible. Maybe Lucifer can't just jump into any random person body. (The nun didn't count, he was using her body for communicating only) He need a body strong enough to have his full power. Sam + yellow eye/Demon blood = Perfect.

Next season shall be interesting.

All right people! Just a few hours until the premiere? Definitely the most anticipated show coming back for me, this year is set to be amazing. The big question I have for tonight is whether we will pick off right where we left off and see Lucifer or not? Or will that be drawn out for an ep or two before we meet the man himself. I usually wait for the show to arrive over here on ITV 2... but they have lapsed on the future rights, so the 5th season will only be available on Sky and Virgin TV's Living channel! which I don't have

Just finished s4.

I doubt there has ever been a character more likable, and at the same time maddeningly self-righteous, than Dean. That they have to make Sam as the bad guy or Dean's ***** is another gripe.

That's not to say I don't like the show or have any less interest in watching season 5. Sometimes you just hate certain things about something you love.
