I love how when someone posts something people instantly call him a liar or a troll. Actully I don't, it annoys me. Thanks for the heads up.

I mentioned earlier that I had already received my copy from the internet retailer I pre-ordered from. Well I just opened it up, and the disc has the 2008 Incredible Hulk on the label, and contains the correct movie as well. So if this is indeed the defect that Universal was recalling for, it does not affect all units as I have one from the normal retail chain that is not affected.

It appears to be Canada only from everything I've seen.

In the Hulk thread many people have posted on the movie. However, somebody here claims that a recall is confirmed and official per a thread @ AVS.

Calm down dude, no need to be so snarky. There is clearly SOME problem, we just don't know what the scope is yet. It is pretty confirmed that some retailers / distributors are getting recall notices, so it's not like this is some hoax that AVS is trying to stir up.

I love the 2003 Hulk. I like it better than the 08 version, although norton is one of my favorite actors and probably better cast as banner. I really like how the 2003 one was shot, and the overall feel of the movie. Way more of a comic book feel, which is what I find more interesting. I just watched it on blu-ray and man was the PQ great.

Yes, comes in a white paper holder, since Incredible Hullk's green case only holds one disc.

Hey, everyone. Just an update. I talked to my boss this morning and he got an e-mail from our disturbutor that the wrong disc problem has been happening all over Canada and that they are being recalled and they will be sending us new ones soon. So it does seem to be a Canada only issue so far.
Just letting all of you know.

Who needs to get their act together? Universal? Because they have been doing a damn good job with their Blu-ray releases.

I actually really like Ang Lee's Hulk too. I thought the newer film was more entertaining though, and I like the new design of Hulk better. Lee's Hulk was definitely the deeper of the two, and I didn't mind the pacing that much. But I now own both of them. And yeah I agree about the PQ on the 2003 Hulk, it's amazing. As is the PQ on the Incredible Hulk.
