Over the Top

Go ahead and laugh at me if you want, but watch it seriously and it's quite a moving film with good acting from the boy and Stallone. It's a movie that makes you re-live the 80's, which is probably another reason I love it

Darkman ---- I know it was kind of corny, but the dialog was awesome. (and the Bruce Campbell cameo at the end was priceless.)

While holding Rick down in the sewers:
Rick: Oh, god! Don't! I've told you everything!
Darkman: [softly] I know, Rick. I know you did.
Darkman: [furiously] But let's pretend you didn't!
Sticks Ricks head up through a manhole cover into the middle of a busy street.

[Show spoiler]
Strack starts going on about how Darkman couldn't live with himself if he killed Strack.
Darkman drops Strack off of 650 foot building.
Darkman: [after he drops Strack] I'm learning to live with a lot of things.

Love that list of movies. "The Outlaw Josie Wales" is one that I pull out maybe every 2 months. And the original Amityville Horror was a classic to me. I posted on another tread, *****ing about horror remakes. To me, the remake of AH, looked like to me they ran out of script....suddenly it's all over? Had the same feeling when I watched the remake of "War of the worlds"

And if you want a good suspenseful "older movie", check out Steven Speilberg's 1971 "Duel", starring Dennis Weaver. He used many ideas from "Duel", and even the exact same sound effect for the end "Jaws", 2 movies which share a kinship.
