Ghost Rider on June 12th....Includes Extended Edition

This is a silly question but does anyone know why there are two different versions of the cover for this? I don't mean they made a new one, I mean the original release (still in hard non-eco case) has two variations. One is the picture of him on the cycle everyone knows, the other looks almost the same except he's closer to the foreground. Which was the original one?

This flick has real low #'s from both users and reviewers. Hell, I even owned it once before and sold it 'cause it didn't seem like much. Now … it's not half bad, especially the Ghost Rider scenes. I think it'd be a lot stronger if they'd have cut/condensed more of the Johnny Blaze parts and focused more on the action parts (and, if you'll pardon me, on Eva Mendes' parts ). It's a pity that this BD only has the extended version. I'd like to have had a look-see at the theatrical version to find out if it was edited any tighter. All and all, if you don't weigh it down with unfounded expectations, it's a nice little popcorn movie.

Trying to scan in my collection with the android app. The standard 2-disc DVD edition of this is incorrectly attempting to stand for the Target version. There's cover images of the slipbox, but these should be split off like the other retailer editions. The standard edition has the main covers, but the ones labelled as slip are actually the Target exclusive Deluxe Edition slipbox, which contains the standard complete with embossed slipcover (same as case cover) and production notes booklet. UPC 043396209435. I have the stickers from the front to prove it's the Target version, cuz I'm THAT kind of collector, I get 'em off the cover AND keep 'em. Maybe someone experienced can do it, otherwise I'll just keep blathering on about old stuff nobody cares about until my post count's high enough.
