In shocking news
Toby Meguire has been handed directing control over the next batman film.
Warner Brother studios learned of Toby's Robotech Live action movie and
thought that Batman and Robotech went together well and decided to combine the universes..

Making the next batman title, Batman vs Robotech, it will feature batman and all the villains siding with the UN Spacy in the defense of earth in massive space and land battles against the evil Zentradi invaders, who were bred for war...

Filming is to start in 2009, and is scheduled to be finished in 2011.

[Update] Apparently bandai visuals has entered into talks to add additional face to the new Batman Movie, the talks seem to be successful and the new title for the movie will be, Mobile Suit Gundam: Gundam vs Batman vs Robotech, which will be the greatest wars' of fanboys...

Batman and villans will side with Earth Federation forces, and the UN spacy to fight back the combined forces of Zentradi and Zeon forces which have combined to destroy the earth...

Report:Cast and Crew from 1997 Flop batman and robin to helm batman 3

George Clooney will return to play batman and Joel Schumacher is set to direct batman 3. Christopher Nolan was not reached for comment.

Christian Bale is setting to come back as Batman in the third installment. And it is rumored that this version will take place in space. It is rumored that the storyline goes as follows. Lt. Ripley (Weaver) and Batman head off into space to battle Ripley's foe, the Alien.

Christopher Nolan has decided to step down from the Batman series after creating the highly successful Dark Knight. He said that he wanted to go out "on top". So director Wes Anderson (Rushmore, Life Aquatic) has been set to direct the latest installment.
