i went to best buy today and had it price matched and got it for 8.99, they called blockbuster and got the green light.

Future shop is not what I would call a great retailer.

I've never had a problem at my nearest FS, several times in the past few months I've price protected something from them (Bond steelbooks, Death Proof, Wanted, Spore videogame), and used a flyer for Shoot Em Up. I just walked to the returns line, said I'd like to price protect the reduced prices, and at a regular cashier, price match the price. done and done, no problems at all.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but I was in BB today and saw Death Proof & Planet Terror for 17.99 each new. I bought Death Proof blindly. Hopefully it wasn't a wasted purchase...

I like Planet Terror better but Death Proof is pretty good though. I got it cheaper from Columbia House but that looks like a good price compared to most places.

it's dialogue heavy (obv since it's tarantino) and i loved it. some ppl hated this one because you go from action packed Planet Terror to dialogue heavy, very little action Death Proof. death proof > planet terror IMO

I liked Death Proof, it was a blind buy for me to get the Steelbook, and it didn't disappoint, I like those style of Tarantino movies.

yeah i agree. never had any hassles with pricematching at futureshop. hate going to bestbuy cuz they dont help you out worth a dam. as for deathproof, thats the lowest you'll find it for. we have it on sale at blockbuster as well for 17.99. never seen it for less. i prefered that one to planet terror (just haded that flick) too cheesy for me. deathpoof was good thou.

What's kind of funny is that I REALLY love the first half of Death Proof, which is more dialogue heavy than the second half. My somewhat dislike for the 2nd half of deathproof leaves me liking Planet Terror more overall.

BTW - the movies are $14.99 each at www.sigelectronics.com, and they are also having a sale later this week.

I hope it is, finally a movie I don't have yet. Even if I thought the movie was only ok, I'm sure I have a worse movie to trade in for the min $10 tradein value.
