There are two possible answers to the OP's question: "Yes" and "Hell, yes!"

To answer your question: based on a number of reviews I have read on BoB Blu-Ray, the PQ and AQ are bulletproof awesome!!!!!! I would buy it!!

I do have a question: Wasn't BoB shot in high definition to begin with? I think it was, but can someone verify that?

Darn, was all set to order this from Target (I have a gift card) and the price jumped from 37 to 55. Looks like I'll hold off for a bit.

It's safe to say this is the BEST blind buy I've ever made. I only have two episodes left and I'm sad to see it end.

I know it's on sale right now but I still don't want to dish out $40 on something I might watch all the way through once and then have no desire to rewatch.

obviously everyone's opinion is different, but if the majority of people have found the set worthy of multiple viewings id be more interested in picking it up. thanks!
I am positive that I will rewatch BOB more than any other blus I have. Even my girlfriend wanted to buy it.

If it was the first episode, that is training and fluff. Stick with it!

I gave up on the first episode about a year ago. It really takes off once you pop in the second disk.

I've watched it twice since it origionally came out on HBO. I'm watching it now for the 3rd time and I am still in awe of the entire show. The audio on Blu-ray absolutely is the best I've heard yet and please take time to watch the special feature when they interview the surviving members of Easy Company. Makes you damn proud to be an American.
