That is the Epson 1080UB projector and the Da-Lite 72"W x 96"H fixed-frame screen. In my opinion, Epson makes some of the best projectors for the money. Many of them can easily compete with projectors that are much higher in price. Epson is the number one seller of projectors in the world.

I know nothing about projectors BD, but I did know that Epson was/is into them in a big way. Isn't JVC is pretty big player in that market as well? I've seen one of their models mentioned quite frequently.

JVC is not as big a player as Sony, Epson, or Sharp. JVC makes a few excellent and highly rated projectors for HT that are between $5,000 to $10,000. Epson and Sony, etc. make low-end and high-end projectors for the classrooms, conference rooms, HT, etc. Sony also makes professional projectors. They cost from $50,000 to over $100,000.

Thanks. Anybody who wants a projector or a camera from me must also buy a subwoofer of equivalent value.

So where would Optoma fit into that list, BD? I've only really looked at their 1k-3k models.

Just curious.

As far as I know, not very high (compared to the ones mentionned). Check out http://www.projectorcentral.com/ for all kinds of reviews

I only mentioned a few. Optoma and a few others are also pretty big sellers of projectors. but I am not sure they are as big as Sony or Epson.

Aren't they big sellers but for cheap budgets though ? Not nearly the quality of an Epson or the ones mentionned above.

I hate to call them cheap. They are good and reasonably priced projectors for HT applications.

Looks pretty good man, were you using a tripod? Some of them look a little blurry but it's probably the since you sized them down for easier load times. What camera are you using? I use a Canon 10D and I feel like I'm the only person who can actually say that my screen shots do actually do my projector/screen a little justice. The secret to perfect screen shots is a tripod w/o a doubt.

BTW, your subwoofer riser tutorial was such a help. I've actually got both my subs and my entire front sound stage on risers with foam and holy shit did it help. Thanks again.
