With every job comes some responsibility, famous people should be no different. Maybe you should also think before you speak.

Also, if it doesn't directly affect you, who cares? Remember that if some sort of tragedy ever strikes you or your family, and millions of people say "who cares".
I've experienced more tragedy than a bit of domestic violence, and I would never expect or want anyone not involved to care. As it should be.

And please stop projecting your values on to others. Please show me in Chris Brown's recording contract where it says it is his responsibility to live by this so called "higher standard" you are referring to. I'm sure his job does have responsibilities, but I doubt living his life by a "higher standard" is one of them. In fact, I doubt you would find such a clause in any job description.

This is America. People are free to choose and make their own decisions. How about you let people live their life they way they want and you live your life the way you want? Stop telling others how to live their life. Thanks.

Some people are happy living with their head in the sand. However some people would like to see this world become a better place, some people like to help others, some people don't want to ignore it when abusive pieces of shit are treated like royalty.

Everyone's standards are their own. If this guy wants to beat on his girlfriend, so be it. He'll pay the price. I don't care one way or the other. And I don't care that some swimmer smokes pot. And I don't care that some baseball player abused drugs. Unless it directly affects me, I don't care. Life is too short to be even wasting my time on such nonsense.

And I didn't realize celebrity was a choice. Man, you think if that was the case, we'd have a lot more celebrities in the world. But we don't. You know why? It's not a choice. If it was, everyone and their uncle would choose to be celebrities.

Please think before you speak.

this is the most rediculus thing i've ever read.

reguardless of what the hell you think, he's in front of people's face every day. therefore held to a higher standard than "normal" people. all celebrities are. otherwise their career is over. their's a reason they're called "idols"

just because you think that people can act the way they want without any sort of remorse, does not mean that a celebrity is held at a higher standard. and yes i'm sure there is something in his contract that says he needs to act like a role model to kids. let's see him show up to work on monday and his record label act like nothing happened.

and either way, for doing what he did his career is most likely over. *cough* cough* micheal vick. and don't go around telling me to "think before i speak" beacuse i assure you 90% of people agree with my side that celebrities are held to higher standards.

please post something worth our times or shut the **** up.
