I've been playing iMob on my iPhone non stop. It's an MMORPG and it's free. Even my wife...... who hates games.... is totally addicted to it.

430°IGN: Metal Gear Solid Touch Review
18 Metal Gear Solid Touch will be a real disappointment for both hardcore and casual fans. Despite the appearance of characters, settings, and weapons from the Metal Gear universe, this is not a Metal Gear game. It's a simple shooting gallery. But at least it's a good-looking simple shooting gallery with awesome music. Perhaps the later stages might get a little more Metal Gear-y, but right now, it's hard to recommend this lackluster shooter.

I would say the same if I were in that guys shoes. Right now nothing compares to what the PSP can produce on-screen as well as control wise even if the iPhone which I do own has a stronger user base it still is in a different market than the PSP.

Correct! I'd say even the DS has that beat. The phone itself is kinda sexy tho.

Ferrari Challenge for the iphone truly redefines what the iphone's hardware can achieve. To me that game looks as good as a psp title.

Since I haven't played it, im not sure I could pass judgement on it, but not all metal gear has been top dog such as Snakes Revenge.. Yes throw the grenade at the living metal boxes to cause them to flash so you can pass through them... what?!

Also such in the past we know how honest review sites are, I fear I must give it the same benefit of the doubt I would offer any other metal gear game I would also think it personally sounds silly to rate a device by a single game or sets of games..

Of course I admit on a reversal Astonisia Story or whatever its called has me pretty addicted... psp game.

Well yeah, Snake's Revenge was not by any means a decent game(also had 0% input from Kojima tho), but I was just making a point. i still say phone gaming is for the birds

iMob 30 Respect is the one you should look for. It's a simple rpg.... no action. You earn money by attacking other people and taking their money or by doing jobs. When you get enough money you start buying property which earns you more money. You gain mob members by having other players join your mob... but once they join.... it just increases your mob numbers... you don't actually coordinate attacks or anything. You can buy weapons, shields and vehicles to improve your fighting stats. As you level up, you choose to increase your attack power, defense power, energy or stamina. It's really quite addictve. There's a messaging system so you can taunt people after you beat them up or send bulletins to your mob, etc.

I actually made it to the end of Snakes Revenge.. Killed big boss again / small metal gear then attempted to escape and the game would crap by sending to a dead end or into empty space that killed me...

My game always glitched near the ending so instead of going the way they told me I would run back to almost the start of the island and then die when the timer ran out.

btw I retract my statement of MGS Touch I just saw a screenshot and I now know what the reviewer meant. I shall post the screenshot so everyone can see this.

i think its a different type of network and att and the iphone uses sim cards.

feel free to buy an $800 unlocked iphone, i know a guy in AT&T mobile who says the iphone is not going anywhere for atleast another 2 years.

he described it as 2 summers and 1 holiday season though.

also, with iphone 3.0 coming out, they are undoing the few contract+iphone deals til the tide settles.

hopefully they'll be back w/ the deals in october, i need to renew then and i'm more than likely getting an iphone.
