I hate that prices never drop on Japanese releases. I need The Crow: Wicked Prayer. I have the UK release of The Crow and the US release of The Crow: City of Angels on Blu-ray and since there's nothing on the third film, I still would like to add the fourth film to my collection.

Unless you love the movie and want the best quality available, just save about $50 and wait for the Echo Bridge release of Wicked Prayer.

I know you have the UK release, but you should give this JPN release of the original some consideration. Chances are it will be better than what Lionsgate gives us.

Even though it's not listed on here, there's actually a double feature Blu-ray for The Crow and The Crow: Wicked Prayer in Japan, it's both of the discs bundled together.

Yeah, I saw that. It's around $10 or so cheaper than buying both separately.

Can anyone comment on the quality for The Crow: Wicked Prayer? Does Universal not own the Japanese rights for the second and third film?

I'm new to this forum and I hope you can help me, getting my fanboy-hands on this wonderful Japanese set of "The Crow/The Crow WP". I tried to get it on amazon.co.jp, unfortunetely I don't have e creditcard and there is no way amazon might accept paypal. Is here somebody willing to sell his/her copy? I prefer the box set with the two movies bundled together, but if there is no other way I might also purchace the first movie alone. Thanks in advance!

It appears that the Crow, Crow: WP, and the 2 pack are out of print. Finding them will be tricky and expensive.

CD Japan currently has Crow: WP in stock and they take Paypal.....

thank you very much for the links. I have ordered The Crow City of Angels. It has indeed a superior picture quality, compared to the Echo Bridge Release and the StudioCanal Blu imo. It seems to be region free and it contains the theatrical cut of the movie.

The Crow Wicked Prayer is out of stock. I ordered it as well, but they told me, after further investigation, that there was no Blu Ray in their stock. So I ordered it from somewhere else.

However, I did never understand the hatred WP got and still gets, eventhough, the production standard are visibly lower than the previous ones, it still has the one thing, that makes "The Crow" The Crow, which is the heartfet story and tragedy, a movie of this kind has to have, in order to justify revenge (if this is even necessary), The Crow Salvation (which was my favourite movie for many years) lacks in this department, so that I would say, eventhough it is an entertaining movie, it is not a "Crow" movie, much more the "Death Wish" version of the character.
