Yeah I got mine Tuesday from Netflix, watched it that night. Good PQ. Just wish Netflix would start stocking more Blu-ray titles. Got Are we done yet and TMNT on tuesday but Disturbia was at the top of my list and apparently there were not enough copies of that for the demand.

Question How is TMNT on Blu-ray?

I'm thinking about getting TMNT on Blu-ray, since I really haven't seen the Turtles in years since that disappointing third movie, and I was wondering if anyone would tell me if the Blu-ray is a recommendible addition to my collection. Thank you.

I am a huge fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and quite honestly, this movie was awesome. I thought it was gonna be similar to that horrible new TV show they have, but its not, this is much more like classic Turtles, with one of the original inventors/writers of the comic book, Peter Laird, helping to write this script and make sure it was what he wanted. Highly recommended if you like the Turtles.

I've been a huge fan of the turtles since i was a little guy and I admit this was my favorite turtle movie besides the first original. I believe that for the most part the family story line was great, and the picture quality as mentioned above is amazing, especially the rain scene. I say pick it up ASAP

This movie really didn't do too well at the box office which is a real shame as I quite liked it and this will mean no sequel/franchise

Yeah it does suck that a sequel is highly unlikely due to the fact that the ending was setup perfectly for a sequel. Other then that I really enjoyed this movie and the PQ is simply amazing. Dare I say it that it rivals Cars.

I really liked this movie, only grippe I had was that it's a sequel... I wish they would have made it like the first film, a fresh franchise.

I like it, looked good on Blu Ray. This is the first TMNT movie that I have seen, so I missed the previous ones.

I fell asleep watching it, I'd rather it had been real, instead of animated, but I may be picking this up here eventually, since I never saw it to the the end ;p

Yeah, I thought it was going to end up throw-away CGI too, until the first trailer hit. Enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would.

And as for PQ, I would have bought it for the rain fight scene alone! Highly recommnded!

I was pleasantly surprised. The CGI detail work is fantastic, the plotline is decent, the action is great, and the sound is good too. Well worth a purchase.

Default TMNT is F*CKIN awesome!

TMNT is definately worth the buy.

The story was great. I thought they did a really good job switching some stuff around and making the introduction interesting.

After watching it, i finally understood why they decided to go CGI instead of doing it old school. These turtles are ninja's... and therefore... should move like one... its awesome i tell ya!

The Blu-ray quality is top notch! A scene worth mentioning is the raining scene, when Ralph and Leo go at it in the rooftops! Man oh man is it beautiful.

And of course... I found myself laughing throughout the movie...

it's definately a must own for any TMNT fan or hardcore BD owner.

The CG was gorgeous, but what amazed me was the direction. It was 'shot' like it was a live action movie.

Also, I found it rather reminiscent of the comics, the angles and the dark lighting, etc.

I also liked the tie-in of the foot clan as 'hired guns'.
