Reading the threads, it does feel to me that sometimes the same old films keep cropping up; Star Wars, Raiders, LOTR none of which I would want to own. But hey each to his/her own.

Back on topic, I would find it way too hard to name just 5; Now make it 200, then I could give it a stab.

I have to get up early tomorrow so can't do it tonight, but if this thread is still active at the weekend, I will give it a go.

The main reason for the high number is that I could not choose one film over another, as there are so many I really enjoy for one reason or another.

A concert film would count I would say. I know...the five is hard to do and I know of so many other films that could easily take a spot in my top 5! When you say five though...it really brings the real favorites forward.

i have tons of other choices but these are some of the ones that i never get sick of watching through the years

Some people listing a lot of movies made in the last year or so..... odd....

Superbad?? really??? I thought it had funny moments... but SERIOUSLY! These are the same kids who would have said "American Pie" 5 years ago today (has it been out 5 years????)

And I can't believe that many people liked Armageddon... I rented it a long time ago, and can't even remember anything about it!
