Default Moonraker

I just watched Moonraker on blu-tray last night. Good opening titles and music.

Is this one of the worst Bond films or what? Maybe I will change my mind after viewing The Man With The Golden Gun on blu-ray tonight.

I think Moore made two very good Bond Films: The Spy Who Love Me and For Your Eyes Only. He also made the two worst in my opinion: The Man With The Golden Gun and Moonraker, with A View To A Kill not too far behind. Live and Let Die and Octo***** were OK.

My favorite opening titles sequences and music:

Dr. No
From Russia With Love
Goldfinger
You Only Live Twice
OHMSS
Diamonds Are Forever
Live And Let Die
The Spy Who Love Me
For Your Eyes Only
A View To A Kill
Living Daylights
Casino Royale

I enjoyed the first two Brosnan Bonds but none of the music or titles standout compared to those listed above although Tina Turner did a good job on her song.

The allegations of her bl** J***** her way to the top are endless and even somewhat supported be her (see her interview when she was inducted into the R & R Hall of Fame)
One of the all time successful no talents of all time, a true travesty of entertainment history.
Wow. You don't seem to know much about her career. "That performance" was in the early 90's and it is FAR from atrocious. Perhaps you're referring to her You Must Love Me performance which, I will be the first to admit, wasn't very good.

In any case, anyone who says Madonna has no talent really doesn't have a clue about the music industry. For a female solo artist to stay on top for over 20 years and have had as many hits as she has PLUS still sell out concerts all over the world is unparalleled.

Score wise i'd disagree (it's more or less on the same level). In terms of the credit song, Casino Royale is the clear winner for me.

Live and Let Die's opening sequence is the only one that haunts me to this day.I remember watching this as a kid on ABC's Sunday night movie and it would scare the crap out of me once the skull appeared.

I liked Casino Royale as a newer theme.

Going back, I really enjoyed: Goldfinger, Live and Let Die, and Diamonds are Forever.

I like the man with the golden gun as a movie.

The best music was for sure 'Live and Let Die'

The Best Opening was 'Diamonds are Forever'

I think 'A view to a kill' is close for music.

A I said here, every part of Casino Royale blows the rest of the series away for me. I really like Chris Cornell's song as well as the opening sequence.

I must say that Casino Royale was very well done , great opening , a fantastic song and then Quantum of Solace came out and on leaving the cinema I couldnt even remember the song from the beginning - sorry but that was totally dreadful.
