Yea, I got the email regarding the outdoor speakers, any one have any experience with the outdoors speakers?

Also, I was curious about the recent Aperion owners and their .02. How are they digging or not digging their speakers?

These 6T's keep sounding better everyday. I haven't broken them in completely but I have noticed what was already a smooth solid sound get even better. Hard to put into words but they are so smooth and rich. I had really gotten away from audio lately really because of a lack of time but I have listened to a fair amount of music lately and I'm very impressed by the Aperion's. I watch alot of films and blu-ray's sound amazing as well. It really is an awesome experience.

These are your first ever Aperion speakers, am I right?

Would you recommend them to a friend? Lol

Did you get anything else besides the 6T's from Aperion?

Yes, these are my first Aperions and in fact a couple of friends were also amazed by the sound especially given the fact they aren't even broken in yet. I really looked around and listened to alot of different speakers before I decided to go with Aperion. I'm very happy with my decision.

So far just the 6T's as I'm also restoring a '68 El Camino so it is hard to throw cash at multiple projects simultaneously. I also wanted to get the towers to solidify my choice to go with Aperion before I purchased the rest. I'm going to order a 6C and some surrounds next week although not sure which speakers to go with fir the surrounds. I had a 7.1 setup before and would like to get a 7.1 with Aperion. I am happy with my Elemental Designs sub (A7s-450) but will probably pick up a Bravus 12D Dual Powered Subwoofer as well.

That's really great news to hear. By mid-September they'll be at full tilt and you'll really be glad. If you want to have a bit of fun, drop the crossover on the fronts down to 60, I know you have an eD sub, but those 6T's will spew out some good deep bass. And don't be shy about playing some 2 ch music, that's where they reaaaaaaally make your jaw drop!

Hey Cisco, very well actually.

I spent all day yesterday listening to some 2 channel music, ranging from classical, to rock, to 80's new wave to some r&b. I can really feel these babies kicking into gear. I'm amazed at how well they perform at various levels of loudness, so smooth and detailed.

I then popped in a few blu's, Master And Commander, I, Robot, and Knowing. I thorougly enjoyed what I heard. Getting ready to order the 6C and a set or rear speakers. Not sure what I want to go with for the rears. I'll have to do some more research.

I found myself listening to 2 channel a lot after receiving my 6Ts....I have 4 5 series for surround. If you can, get 3 6Ts for the front....seamless soundstage.

That is an interesting point. I have thought about another 6T like you have in your setup. Did you try a 6C prior to your third 6T?

Yea, I had a wall mount for my plasma and had a 6C for the center. I purchased a ceiling mount so I could slide another tower in there. The 6C was a good center but another 6T for center sounded better. Figured I had 30 days to give it a try, I ended up selling my 6C on the AVS forum.

If you wanted cincy, you could order a 6T and a 6C and and see which to you sounds like a better Center speaker, then send the one you don't want back before the 30 days is up. And BAM, a great LCR combo.

Yeah, I ordered the 6T and the 6C, we'll see which one sounds better. Anxious to hear how these sound.

Don't be scared lol, I hear the 6C is NO small speaker. So get those arms ready for lifting. Let us know what you think is the better one for your set up. Enjoy.

I'm going from a 5.1 channel setup to 7.2. The problem is Aperion doesn't make the Intimus 532-LR anymore, so I ordered a pair of the 5Bs for my surround back set. I just hope they timbre match well.

You don't have to worry about the surrounds as much as the fronts. I have the 5B's and 5C as my fronts with the older 422-lr's as my surrounds. Don't have any problems at all with the timber matching. I called Aperion with the same question you had, and they assured me having the 422's as the surrounds would be fine. Ofcourse I don't listen to a lot of music I just mostly watch movies. When I do listen to music I don't notice any sound difference between the 422's and the 5B's to warrant getting the newer 4b's.

So it's been a bit since I got these Aperions. All I can say is that these babies keep sounding sweeter each day. I'm amazed at just how good they sound. I do about 60/40 HT to music, which is crazy because I thought it would be 80/20, that is how good these handle music, such a pleasure to listen to.

I am a bit discouraged not by Aperion but at not being fully satisfied with having to raise my TV to accommodate the 6T for my center channel. I'm not comfortable with the viewing angle. This does make for an amazing front soundstage but I think I am going to stick with the 6C, which with sound and viewing angle taken into consideration, sounds pretty damn sweet.
