Just noticed this thread, and i was like... how the hell didn't I post my stats!

Year: 2004
Make: Pontiac
Model: Grand Am GT Sedan

Alpine 5.25 Type-R Component Speakers w/ Active Crossover ( Front )
Alpine 6x9 Type-R Speakers ( Rear )
Alpine 10-Inch Type-R Subwoofers molded into Trunk ( x2 )

Kicker 650.4 Multi-Channel Amplifer ( 162.5 Watts per channel )
Kicker 1000.1 Mono Amplifer ( 1000 Watts per channel )

Black & Decker 750W DC-AC Power Inverter

Dell Studio 17 w/ Blu-Ray Player running as CarPC Media Centre
Xbox 360 Custom-Dock ( only in for car shows )
5.1 Surround Sound USB SoundCard
Wireless Keyboard ( for Blu-Ray Playback )
1TB Seagate External HDD ( stores movies & Videos )
GPS running through the Laptop
Slot-Loading DVD-Drive, Molded underneather HVAC controls ( Samsung )
4-Port USB Hub molded in behind Back Cupholder

Running 0-GA Wire through the entire car ( that was NOT fun )

Plus some visual and performance work.

That's the end of the list for this year. Next year, I'm planning on throwing in a dedicated centre channel, and some other things.

So, what do you all think? I'm starting to become pretty active in the Car Shows, and currently have 3 awards under my belt.

I'll post my pictures a lot later. I'm prepping for this big show in Fargo, ND in August, and would prefer not to have anything post till then. Maybe some teasers here and there

I too just noticed this thread.

Mine is a factory fitted "premium" system, which thankfully came as standard on my model(BMW 335i).

Logic 7 by Harmon Kardon. 13 speakers including 2 subs under the front seats.
Plenty of connectivity(usb, ipod, mp3), and plenty of boom when I need it

But looks ugly

I run an old Alpine CDA-7864 AM/FM/CD receiver rated at 60 watts x 4 channels. No amp. It powers 4 Infinity Kappa 682.7cf 6x8 coaxials. And one pair of Infinity Kappa 692.7cf 6x9 coaxials. There is a 12 inch Pioneer shallow mount TS-SW3014D subwoofer mounted in a Pioneer UD-SW12b enclosure, powered by a 1000 watt Panasonic amp. There is also a 13 inch CRT TV that will need a digital conversion box or upgrade to a new LCD HDTV, and a VHS player that will be upgraded to a AC/DC DVD or BluRay if any are available.....haven't found any yet.

My ride is a high top conversion van.

I guess Ill add my 2 cents worth of stereo,

Pioneer AVH-P4900 6.5 inch Touch screen,
With Pioneers XM unit and iPod Connections
JL Audio 500/1 Powering 2 JL Audio 12W3v3's
With a cheapy 1.2 Frad cap. And For the door speakers FTW for you guys Bose.

All this pushed under the back seat of an 06 Chevy Silverado Ext Cab.

The local JL dealer that put my Viper remote start/Sec. system in said that it sounded louder then what it really should be for what I have. Now to just upgrade my Bat. and charging systems.

This is what I have, although my dash is not quite the same as this. It's a pretty good little Kenwood system. I also have 6.5 in components speakers in the front and 6/9's in the back. One of these days I'll be getting a good amp and a couple of 10 in subs in an enclosure to put in the trunk. It's not really a priority right now, as I'm quite satisfied with the system's sound as it is.

I never said it was one. The original question asks "What's in your auto? Systems check!" And that's what I have.
