ok first off im not a star trek follower.....but i liked the movie so much that im currently have the first 3 star trek movies on my queue on netflix.

with the said here is the best part about the new star trek......NEW TIMELINE!! meaning anything can happen, kinda like if starwars had a new timeline, vader could live on....

I'm going to get lynched for this but I never liked Shatner that much. You think Christensen has wooden acting? Shatner as James Tyberius Kirk is a million times worse. The guy has 2 facial expressions really and in some movies you only get 1 of them.

Just so everyone knows i grew up with trek. It was in syndicated re-run but i
watched it and timeframe wise it was when i also watched sesime street mr rogers.

The new battlestar from sci fi seems to get people not even interested in trek.

I watched all the series and movies and still am glad they wiped the slate clean.

I'm of course waiting to see what's next.
