I would prefer film too but would gladly buy a tape master on Blu Ray or DVD.

It just keeps the film alive if nothing else and who knows, maybe a newer audience can spot it and enjoy it.

Whatever will be, will be.

If a tape master is all there is, I'm cool with that. If a label is going to settle for a tape master and not do the leg work to find the film element..not so much.

First post in this here thread. I want to thank Ruined for very strong postings - I am a fellow DF collector and it is very disappointing to see some users bash the label unfairly. I am very happy with the product and the service - David appears to be one of the good guys. Give this new label a fair chance people.

I’ve said before, I’m trying to give this label another chance, but his people are making fools of themselves right off the bat here

A new tease from Dark Force Entertainment that pretty much confirms 2000's Point Doom is in the works!:

"BEHIND THE SCENES AT DARK FORCE-
There are several steps involved with the film transfer process before the eventual new high def master is created. GOD'S BLOODY ACRE is requiring additional procedures due to the more involved restoration on account of damage to the master film element. It is currently going through a process known as DRS which involves state of the art equipment at FOTOKEM which essentially removes dirt and scratches from the film. In peticular a big annoying green scratch right though the center of parts of GOD'S BLOODY ACRE. This is typical of these old drive in movies which often got beat up by the old 35mm film projectors during their drive in run. AND to add to the complexity we have to work on several movies at once as they move down the pipeling towards final replication. This is a clip from a new one that is coming out soon from Dark Force that we were also involved in the making of. See if you can tell which one it is...Hint: has a lot of recognizable names in it.
