Venom has been released on 3D Blu-ray in India, Hong Kong, Mexico and a very limited number of European countries - unfortunately not including the UK or France. The 3D releases are REGION FREE worldwide:

Venom will not be part of the MCU. I hope they can bring Spider-Man into the stories or Venom into the MCU eventually.

Questions like this are why I hate Sony for doing this. It’s just going to cause confusion.

If Sony had the brains to just be patient with this I’m sure Venom would appear in the MCU at some point, it was a given. But now they have to try to mess things up by doing their own thing.

Here's an article I saw awhile back on Sony and Marvel's stances on Venom and Spider-Man. Sounds as though Spider-Man will be allowed into the MCU but Venom most likely won't.

If Sony put out Ghostbusters on disc with the IMAX scenes then there's a good chance that they'll do the same with Venom.

The trailer makes it look like they are trying really hard to maximise Tom Hardy's screen time the same way Marvel try really hard to show Spider-Man without his mask as much as possible. I wonder how much action the CGI Venom will actually get.... he looks like something out of Power Rangers...

I'll see Venom in 3D, but wasn't this rated R? I'd be surprised if it's R and in 3D too. But then again, so was 300 Rise of an Empire 3D and that did pretty well in theaters.

Tom Hardy is a good actor though I have to see him play more roles.

The whole Venom character could end up being cheesy if they don't handle it right, so I'm on the fence with what to expect from this film. It looks interesting, but I'll keep an open mind and go in with low expectations.

The effects are probably about the best they could do while trying to remain faithful to the original Venom/Edward Brock character for the most part. I will say the part where Brock is flying through the air on his motorcycle and loses contact, then Venom's tentacles reach and pull him back onto it, well... While it's cool to see him riding a motorcycle, that sequence looks kind of cheesy, but if they add some humor into this movie, that will definitely help sell this type of character.

Also Mad Max: Fury Road (with the same star), Prometheus, the recent Underworld and Resident Evil films etc. Doing R rated 3D films is certainly less common than PG-13 or PG, but far from unheard of

Why cant super hero movies be more serious? Why do we need them all to be so slapstick that they resemble the 3 stooges in costumes?

Thats one thing i hated about Thor Ragnarok , is they made Thor a dumb fratboy , not the god of lightning.

Venom wasnt a laugh a minute character, he was a dark character , he was the opposite of spiderman.
